Still no announcement.

This looks like hard and tough US hedge fund style negotiating. The more time that passes without his appointment the more pessimistic I get about him signing for us.

I feel an announcement coming this afternoon - when the Offal and Telegraph are quiet it gets me suspicious!

Could do with hearing something today. Even if its just confirmation that talks are on going.

I gather that is the rumour but I was hoping for something more concrete like a joint statement.

Concrete? I don't think SISU know much about concrete.

They are saving their bit of concrete for the new stadium foundations - or so it's rumoured!

Should we read anything into it taking place at Ryton? Is it the final few details ahead of confirming and they want him here to talk to the local press?

If IIRC It reaches around 95% strength after roughly 30or so days
The other 5% comes over the next 5 or so years
A little knowledge can be dangerous though

I hope so. I'm not so sure. Until the inks dried, I won't get my hopes up....

He ain't going to sign. I very much hope that I am wrong but at this stage can't see that he will be with us next season. Back to the drawing board then :blue:

Do you not think? I'd have thought he'd have already walked by now, if he was truly going to walk. The longer the talks go the more positive I'm feeling. I hope I'm not wrong.

I'll be 143 by then but at least the Ricoh will be back with it's rightful owner .

Like your optimism
They the current crop of youngsters are predicted to live into their hundreds
That pleases me for my Grandkids
By the year 2030 they say mans average lifespan will be 87
Given my lifestyle employment and genes that is going to be some gig to pull off
Advice to all
Don't have that blood test they offer or at least decline to know the information

What with cracks to the blockwork in the concourses inside the stadium along with the rust-bucket toilets there is ground for optimism .

I think Sheffield Uniteds defeat tonight is a dangerous result with these unfinalised Tony Mowbray talks. I think United will get rid of Nigel Clough and will be more than interested in Tony Mowbray, i am concerned.
