Found this MOTD montage from when we got relegated. Quite poignant.

No other club has been what we’ve been through.

Other clubs fans moaning about shit managers or wanker players, yet still winning trophies.

We’ve played home games in Burton, Northampton and Birmingham.

Gone down all the divisions.

Gone into admin and nearly died.

We’re so fucking close to being back!

Can't wait to be annoyed we are on last.

Although with the internet, don't really need to watch it now.
It's not like the old days with a big match (Motson or Davies) then a second one (whichever of the big two didn't do the first one) and a third (Gubba, Sinstadt or Jon Champion) and then just the goals from the other games. Where we were often the last one of that group!

I haven't watched it for years, I probably will when we're on it, at least until i get over it. Is it any good? I don't even know who presents it now.

I was literally thinking about this the other day!
..and quite strange for one club to get a montage to itself really.

Oh do they have more of each game now? I haven't watched it in years.

Yeah, not seen it happen before or since.
I think you have to go back to the late 70s to find another team relegated after 34 or more seasons consecutively in the top flight. Which ironically was Tottenham who could very easily be relegated again this season!

It's not too dissimilar from previous years really, and I quite like the main trio now of Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates.
The punditry analysing the games is still pretty boring so I usually watch it back on iplayer and skip to the next game.
Can't be doing with Wayne Rooney or Danny Murphy either

Urgh that day at Villa Park was awful and was carnage outside.
Horrible, left in tears, to go to airport to pick up the mrs (now wife!) who had been away travelling. Funny leaving also, thought be back soon, never been back, will now likely be with my kids!

Does anyone know who the guy is at the end of the vid who held up the “We’ll be back sign”? I often think of that sign and that day.

Was like a war zone!

It was certainly interesting. I remember the police shoving as many City fans as possible onto the next train, myself included. As the Brum skyline disappeared into the distance and the train headed for Coventry I remembered that I lived in Mid Wales and needed to get to New Street. A fitting end to a crap afternoon.
