a new era this weekend - personally i find myself waiting to watch it less and less due to youtube.
chappers and gabby i like anyway, i dont know enough about Cates, couldnt care less about gender either, as long as the punditry is good.

I like the changes, business as usual with a good selection of presenters. I had a horrible vision of them going with inane youth presenters and influencers like Roman Kemp or whoever else, basically butcher it like Football Focus

Everyone seems to be confused on the difference between punditry and presenting.

Female presenters are not a new thing and are equally good (in many cases better) than their male counterparts. Absolutely no reason they shouldn't be, Analysis of the finer points of the game is different. Again that's not to say women can't be as good, there are some very good ones out there, particularly on Sky, but it's the whole 'quota' and dumbing down, that I think is a bit ott. Having said that I can't remember the last time I actually watched MotD, which used to be be part of my staple.

I stopped watching because of Gary, now he’s cleared off it will become watchable again
