Made a 3.2 million profit in 2009 and the council will sell for the right offer. This must be backed up by a business plan. The council want the club to do well and thinks the issues lie elsewhere "The route isn't about ownership of the ground because the fundamental issue is the playing staff: they have made transfer decisions that have weakened the club."

Is this an April fool, are the council being critical of the club's transfer policy? Are they holding a grudge over Roy O'Donovan?

I have no idea how the City Council works in Coventry but where I live I know that the Council has about as much foresight as a bat stuck in a gyroscope.

of course our policy is wrong, we sell our most talented players at just the hint of getting some money, Council are spot on unfortunately.

yes they are but they cannot hold that against the club if they come up with the reddies to buy the ground.

remember the worst thing that can happen is that SISU get their hands on the ricoh. I think both Hoffman, Ranson and the council are very aware of this. SISU WILL bury us alive if they get the stadium, look what they did just days ago, it´s what they do for a living they will mortgage the arena to the hilt and recoup their 30 mill+ they stand to loose. They are a hedge fund. The council knows this.
