Having being released by Birmingham City, we are again being linked with Gary McSheffrey.

He would be available on a free transfer, but do you think he can still perform at our level or is he past it? Personally i think he would be a bargain and would perform well for us.

What wages would he want? Would he be going to Leeds?

How did he play when at Leeds? Maybe if he would come to us on lower wages it might be an idea but only if he accepted lower wages.

I'd definitely welcome him back, he used to be about the only decent striker we had !
On the other hand he didn't perform well at Birmingham and the issue I would have is that he is just going to end up another player that inst any better than the strikers we had to begin with. Why beat around the bush settling for another teams scraps when we should be properly scouting for fresh talent or big names.
