Not just laughing at Scotland, all the build up on ITV about how we're the greatest team in the world and are going to win everything.

Reality is England are ordinary and got lucky in the World Cup by avoiding playing anyone good.

Decent game so far, Montenegro seem happy to attack in numbers when they have the ball and we've put some decent balls into the box. I think we'll win by a couple.

A mixture of the difficulty of travelling there, the match day experience, the surroundings and sisu.

Double easy.

I like this England team. Even when things aren't going well they look like they give a shit. Not like the 2010 team up their own arses criticising the fans.

Nothing tonight could really put Scotland's defeat in a better light, Montenegro have taken points off us a few times in recent years.

Rooney's outburst after the chumps drew 0-0 against Algeria said all that was needed. Such a shame after romping through qualifying.

Mixed feelings on it as I really enjoyed going to games up there and the people, with a few bellends excepted, are as passionate about it as we are. On the other hand there would be no mercy if it were happening to us (oh wait-Iceland).

Fair game IMO

Wasps provided the stewards and they’ve been checking bags at the turnstiles

Yes really, its Montenegro not France or Brazil. We always do this. Romp through qualifying and get over excited thinking we've got a chance of winning something.

Ian Wright was spot on about the racism. They'll get a slap on the wrist and an insignificant fine and it will all be forgotten about until the next time.

England look to have moved on since the world cup to me, Montenegro is the kind of place we'd go and draw in the past. We took them apart with ease.

We've got a team of young hungry players who've scored 10 goals in two games playing with flair. We've beaten Spain and Croatia since the WC. We used to win qualifying games by sneaking a goal after a dour performance.

England games are a pleasure to watch for the first time in a long time, let's enjoy it while we can.

Not saying don't enjoy it. Just the experts shouldn't be like this forum after a city win and stop declaring we're going to win every trophy going when we win a game like this.

I've not seen any of that. Just that we've got a good group of players, with more young talent emerging, playing for a manager they trust and enjoying themselves. Continue to play like this and we can give the euros a good go and we are only two games away from a trophy in the summer.

One thing we've got that I don't remember in previous years is a conveyor belt of talent, all or nearly all of the youth teams have won recent honours and those players are quickly becoming senior internationals. Normally we have to rely on established players until they're wheezing themselves into retirement, whereas at the moment our oldest regular starting players are Henderson and Walker who are only 28 still. I don't think anyone is predicting glory but there's a lot more reason to hope now.

I also like that we're developing our own system and trusting it. Instead of previous years of 'do what the Germans do' or 'the Spanish method is what works' we now have St George's park and a proper system imbedded throughout all levels. I've heard that other nations are now looking and saying 'maybe we should copy the English'.

They need to instantly kick them out of the competition for racism, the slap on the wrist and petty fines are embarrassing.

Exactly, when was the last time England beat anybody decent in a major tournament?

Capello’s side of 2010 smashed qualifying including that trashing of Croatia away, then flapped it against Germany. Obviously I’m very happy to see us scoring 5 in consecutive games, but until we’re performing like that against the best in the world I’m reserving judgment.

See games against Croatia and Belgium

Thought we looked really good value for the convincing win. Ok they weren’t the best side but in time gone by the pressure of conceding would have disrupted our flow, whereas I thought we stuck to the game plan, remained patient and reaped the rewards. Sterling is looking brilliant all of a sudden in an England shirt and I was also very impressed with Hudson-Odoi. More so than Sancho on Friday night, who I thought looked like a long season was catching up with him. There are very few airs and graces surrounding this team in comparison to our “golden generation” and that can only be a good thing.
