Thing is, if we create lots of chances as a team, any decent striker is going to tuck a few away. The only element to be concerned about, is the overall contribution to the game, pulling defenders away, making options, and acting as a link.

I have faith in MR, he will know and judge these aspects........

I am amazed that half way through a season a pro footballer who is not injured, cannot be fit through trainning.

surely there must come a time when contracts include fitness levels to be attained

Exactly, the same as Eastwood. If they cant get fit then sack them as they cant do their jobs...

Maybe you just can't have more than two players with a combined wage of £12-£15k. per week on the pitch at the same time??:thinking about::facepalm::slap:

The eye for talent was closed that day -- unless it was a talent for consuming even more pork pies than the gaffer.

That could have paid for Goldie at 200k and 300k towards wages......great
