Millwall have postponed their boxing day game due to covid, you've got to think that this game is highly unlikely to go ahead.

No reason for them to postpone the game against us. They called off the Reading game on 15th December.... if they still have too many positive cases by 28th then they need to be investigated for not following Covid protocols.

Why would they keep wanting games cancelled?

Injuries may be a problem, but no one wants a massive fixture pile up at the end of the season. I think if they can, most teams will want to play.

When will we know if the games on? Is there a timescale / notice period?

It's all a conspiracy. They're trying to gain an advantage like Rotherham did last season

I think it's pretty naive to think that absolutely no clubs are going to try and bend the rules. It doesn't make it a "conspiracy".

That bollocks if it’s that short notice the team cancelling should definitely forfeit the points as a 3-0 loss

That was my point. It was a hindrance to them yet many saw it as cheating at the time.

Luton got covid now apparently, we'll be lucky to play another league game before mid January.

Based on isolation periods surely if it was off (for existing cases) they would’ve called it by now?

Assuming this game goes ahead, here’s a conundrum for you…

A man is currently isolating in wales due to Covid restrictions, where the rules specify that he must isolate for 10 days. This will see the man come out of isolation on the 30th January, and therefore miss the Millwall game.

However, in England the rules are that the man should only isolate for 7 days. If the man gets in his car and drives straight to England at 70 mph, without stopping, can the man go to the game?

No pressure. There are no wrong answers.

Trick question, they wouldn't drive, they'd get a phase 2 to do it.

What if there's 2 days injury time? (We are being hyperthetical)

Based on what we can do in 5 minutes injury time we’d blow the league to pieces
