My main issue is he won’t share his secret on how to be in such good condition for someone who looks like a 55 year old chain smokerI’ve never had an issue with Bannan, clearly loves the club
Back to drawing ways I'm afraid, 0-0.
Still. you know what they say about a point on the road.
I can’t see any other outcome than a win.
if we lose you can never go to another gameMy first match of the season so hoping for a win.
We're so grounded (compared to many other fan bases) we've grown stubborn roots. You can tell by the tone on here there are some long suffering city fans. Of the 7 games played so far we deserved to win 6 of them and the point at Leicester was a fair result. We have to have the mentality that we can win this type of game if we are seriously thinking about promotion.
I'd go the other way round, Wright today Simms Sat if neededI would be tempted to start with Simms here with an eye on Saturday's game
Will the wolf get a run out?
Is this on the club’s official channel?YouTube - they normally have 10-12 minute extended highlights I think of most championship games

Mine too. At Geneva airport now. Couple of beers at London Bridge before. My first match of the season so hoping for a win.
Grimes can rest during the international break. This is just the type of game that automatically promoted teams just go and win by hook or by crook.
A draw would be a bit meh. But I'd take it as my ambition is autos!
Take 4 points from next 2.
No reason Not to start the same team as Saturday..there's been plenty of rest.
Then can see changes from 60 mins onwards.
Think the team for Saturday will be very different. I can actually see Kesler hayden and wolfy/ Bidwell starting that also Simms as he scored a brace there last year.
Grimes is my worry how do we give him a rest.
In fairness to him he's been involved in two goals in each of his last two sub appearances at home, but I agree with you that he generally seems better from the startLampard seems to like to start his best and sub off early but I really think Simms is better starting than coming onto a game. That said he was good on Saturday in his cameo.

Grimes hasn't had or needed a rest in about 6 seasons judging by his stats. He'll be fine.
didn't we win 4-0 there a few years ago?Our form at the Den isn't actually as bad as I thought, of the last 6, Won 3 lost 2 drawn 1. I had it in my head that it was bogey place, not sure why.

He’s definitely on an upswing. He must be about the only player not to kick on under Lampard I reckon.
he hasn’t played. How would we know yet
dedicationMine too. At Geneva airport now. Couple of beers at London Bridge before.
Weird. I swear I saw him on Saturday.
yeah I mean like a run of games. That’s when we will know more.
Coming on against ten men blues tells us nothing.
That was a good day out. Haji should have put it away first time though. Sakamoto's first goal for us too wasn't it?Millwall was the ground on which Matt Godden scored his final league goal for us in November 2023.
