Would be interesting to somehow know the numbers of immigrants that come through Dover unchecked or over the Channel successfully. Also you can't tell me major companies dont exploit immigrants with pitiful below national wage tax free cash in hand wages. There is evidence a lot of industry, hotels chains and restaurants in London do this. I sense Tory anger of immigration is a bit of a smokescreen as deep down they know they need cheap labour and immigrants to support their mates industries and business owners. Rywanda policy and blaming the french constantly makes it look like they are being tough...but are they really? Typical right wing attitude of £s come before everything and the poor can be exploited. They blatantly couldn't give a fcuk about humanity unless white and weathy.

2000 over the weekend. Cheap labour abounds. Money in the pockets of the smugglers. A real win , win situation.

It’s amazing that France gets blamed because the UK can’t control its own borders.

We all agree alan that there should be safe passage it’s you and your lot that think it’s ok to allow smugglers to take huge risks with peoples lives and that the way to stop them is to let them drown as somehow that’s an answer to a complex problem. It’s absolute madness

"Your lot" who are they ?
Do you understand sarcasm because you seem to have interpreted my previous comment literally when it's obvious it's sarcasm.
As for letting then drown just point out where I said that.
You're losing it, bro, and you haven't done yourself any favours with that little tantrum.

Sarcasm is not a great Alan. My point was in reality more than 2000 'illegal' immigrants (i.e. humans) arrived in UK as they are only the numbers of people detected. For instance only a small number of HGVs are checked each day coming into the UK so your beloved Conservative & Unionist Party are not really trying hard -its an illusion to get angry gammons to vote for them. Many many businesses/industries (private sector) exploit this cheap workforce. We should welcome them and make them British tax paying citizens - especially since Tory party are obsessed with harmful tax cuts - public services need all the help they can get!

My beloved Conservative Party ? I've voted labour more in previous elections than for any other party so you are making assumptions there .
Sarcasm I can use as and when I please thank you kindly.

Not suggesting you can't get racist, mysoginistic and homophobic Labour voters - but find it hard to accept that some one who votes for Boris/William Rees Mogg policies, also voted for Foot, Kinnock, Milliband, Brown or Corbyn. (I've deliberately left Blair of this list for obvious reasons !)

Why are you bringing up racism, mysogynists or homophobes ? What's that got to do with me ?

It’s just bizarre - what’s even more bizarre is that true socialists as per Michael foot wanted an eu exit and the British jobs for British workers

Strict immigration controls, like tariffs are indeed left wing principles.

If the cap fits mate. Not saying you specifically on all three aspects but there are some angry nasty chaps on here who spout that crap either as WUMs or because of their very right wing leaning and hatred. Lifes too short for all that shite and negativity.

I think you'll find there is equal crap, anger and hatred both left and right.

So you seem to imply I am guilty of at least one of racism, misogyny or homophobia.

Shite and negativity isn't your thing then, but you're happy to point the finger just like everyone else.

Yep, never any hatred from the left, from creatures that have 'antiracist' and 'feminist' in their bio...

Getting banned from a platform that largely consists of bullshit and people saying things they'd never be brave enough to say to other people in real life takes some doing. What a horrendous woman.

I happened to be at a union meeting this evening when the news was confirmed and I have to be honest despite being staunchly republican I felt really uncomfortable with the immediate talk being of days off and other more unfortunate comments.

Why have you left Blair out???
Is it because he won 3 General elections?

What a sad excuse of a human being. Says a lot about someone when they say this. More than the person whom they are attacking .

I can 100% see that. The most common quadrant of voters in the U.K. if economically left and socially conservative. It’s no coincidence UKIP and the like grow up in former Labour areas.

Wasn’t Nick Griffin supportive of Corbyn? The Far Right’s economic policy is usually to the left of Labour.

Take the bigotry out of this and of the little that’s left, it’s pretty standard Corbynite fayre

Because a bigoted woman who wants to pull the trapdoor up after her is engaging in inflammatory rhetoric to press the buttons of the more extreme part of their supporter base to deflect attention from the fact they're completely incapable of governing competently?

Those fucking Africans, coming over here, 100,000 years ago.

No wonder the country's full!

I blame the fish, for leaving the sea.

Get back in the sea, you finned cunts! This is OUR land!
