Seen an interview with Troy Deeney recently saying lots of out of contract players get offers won't drop down the league or take pay cuts.

That itself points to questionable attitude.

Takes the attitude of "I wouldn't get out of bed for that" to the next level!

Just read that. Turned down further scans, and says he "feels" as though it's nothing major. Going to crack on with physio. Baffling! Do players just diagnose themselves now?

Believe me he would know if it was torn.

Is that like when players know they don't have serious injuries, keep playing for 5-10 minutes, and then end up being out injured for 2 months?

You have to trust the players and especially the club captain. It costs money to do scans.

Are you being serious?

We can afford a £7.7mil forward to sit on the bench, but can't afford scans or a Japanese tutor.

They told him how long he'd have to wait for his scan so he said fuck this I'll diagnose myself. Diagnosis: I don't reckon it's that bad actually mate.

See what you are saying but Kelly is a different kettle of fish to Palmer.

I think if you have torn your hamstring the last four letters in your name on here would be a serious one.

That's the second joke about my username this week, after Greggs was desperate to find out whether I had erectile disfunction.

It costs like £500 for a private MRI scan, it's peanuts in the scheme of things

I get Kelly probably knows his body better than most in the squad but I find it absolutely bizarre he would turn down a scan
