Shipley is not championship quality, neither is Allen. Shipley gives it away literally every time he gets it. Really poor game. Only surprising thing is that Middlesbrough are as bad as us.

Does Tyler Walker have pace ? We're bladdering the ball up for Godden to chase and the poor guy is not the fastest player when he's on form. Nexessary 2nd half sub in the striking position.

Not according to their commentators, got the beating of us apparently.

Decent defensive showing so far, but the two AMs aren’t offering us anything so far. Gooden is so isolated and it’s not his fault.

Tactically we're ok; they're committing so many forward & we're dealing with it well enough but we need more mobility up top in order to spring the counter.
Walker/O'Hare could make the difference.

I’ve not read anything above so apologies, I imagine it’s started world war 2, but that has to be one of the worst halves I’ve ever seen from a player by Shipley. I’d be worried that he hasn’t recovered properly from his concussion based on that

Not bad so far , hamers first goal is gonna be a thunder bastard from about 35 yards

Think we can get a result here , defended well just a noticeable lack of pace

Reasonably happy with that. Look ok at back and midfield getting through lots of work. Godden not strong or quick enough to be up on own. But so far so good

Defence have done well, Shipley and Allen struggling to get into it and we need them to, poor touches when they are getting opportunities. Said before but Allen too weak
