So by your train of thought, can't the same be said of the millions killed by mass Genocide by Saddam Hussein in Iraq? Do you want Britain to be the "Superman" of World Holocausts, and come to the rescue of literally every disgusting act performed by third world leaders? whilst you bring this up.... Not ONE neighbouring Country to SYRIA opened their borders to help the refugees. It was left to Greece,Italy, Germany, and eventually the UK to help.

I thought over 3 million Syrian refugees ended up in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan for a start.

It is about money oil and infrastructure, otherwise explain why we all watched the
extermination of upto 5 million children women and men in Rwanda on the news
every night. A genocide on a scale with the holocaust, but ignored by governments
around the world, and now largely erased from human history.

I'm truly not trying to make light of the Rwanda genocide as disgusting as it was mate, but, The Rwandan genocide, known officially in Rwanda as the genocide against the Tutsi,[SUP][2][/SUP] was a genocidal mass slaughter of Tutsi and moderate Hutu in Rwanda by members of the Hutu majority government. An estimated 500,000–1,000,000 Rwandans were killed during the 100-day period from April 7 to mid-July 1994 Clearly a long way short of the figures you supplied.

So you think making them walk hundreds of miles to their respective borders to push them OVER their borders to let the next Country "Solve the problem" is in your eyes is OK?.... Come on mate You're better than that ffs. Just to add. Where do you think the (Grenduffy) estimated 500k ISIS extremists that are coming our way, "Joined" the refugees? Don't know? Turkey that's where. Didn't you notice the "Refugees in the Holding area" waiting to get on the trains to Germany 2000-3000 were ALL men with good clothes, haircuts, and I-PHONES!

These are people registered as residents in the countries listed.

I've said fuck all about 'solving the problem' I'm just directly responding to your uninformed, incorrect, FALSE post.

Out of curiosity how many people know of a Muslim who wants sharia law imposed in this country? Or are we to believe everything the media say? Rather than going by what we see and hear ourselves.

It suits the right wing media and ruling classes to stir up racial hatred, and to have us
fearing our neighbors. It also suits them to broadcast endless dross about people on
bennefits bleeding the system dry, whilst ignoring the wealthiest individuals
greedily and often illegally stockpiling as much as they can get there mits on.

What are you on about? See those 5 countries at the top of the list, way ahead of everyone else - they're the countries bordering Syria.

You do realise Syria isn't some third world country? Why wouldn't they have clothes and iPhones? Its the same as if, for example, Poland suddenly decided to start bombing us every night. What would you do?

That figure is widely regarded as being under-estimated and only counted the 100 days.
As for your point (should we go getting involved in all genocides) well I don't think a
country's oil reserves should be the determining factor.

My opinion is the same as the time going back to when I made a thread about 3 weeks after the JR was listened too by the Judges?............ "When is the findings going to be released" and "If the ruling is against the CCC, then the people of Coventry will be the ones picking up the tab" (A Americanism for you)

You don't think it will central government picking up the tab like the judge intimated?
Why do you think there is such a delay in making the decision it was only suppose to take a few weeks.
I think the delay is due to central government getting involved (just a guess)

Apologies hill83, but as chiefdave has so nicely put up a map of Countries surrounding Syria, he fails to say that ALL of those Countries closed their borders to Syrian refugees almost 2 years ago., and could he please answer this question..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...lf-Nations-refused-single-Syrian-refugee.html

Don't you think the annual "Wedge" given to City/County Councils will fall by however much SISU are awarded if they win the JR?

Ahhh the Daily Mail. The same paper who had a anti-refugee cartoon.

The same paper who in the 1930's supported Hitler Germany and Nazis. Your using them as evidence to back your argument?

"[Joseph] Goebbels himself wrote endless documents about Rothermere, describing him as being a strong ally and strongly against the Jews. Those are the words he used. ‘Strongly against the Jews’. Has Rothermere aplogised? Have we ever had an apology from the Mail, or the Mail group, in relation to their history."

The proprietor of the Daily Mail congratulated Adolf Hitler on his annexation of Czechoslovakia and urged him to capitalise on the "triumph'' with a march into Romania, newly released documents have revealed.

Something just doesn't add up. What is going on. Why would they close their borders if they were never open? Anyone?

How about this Newspaper? Or is it too much of a Nazi Broadsheet? Taken from "The Washington Post, As Amnesty International recently pointed out, the "six Gulf countries — Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain — have offered zero resettlement places to Syrian refugees." This claim was echoed by Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, on Twitter:
