If we could get rid of both gives us a chance of being able to improve the playing squad with a few good additions

Never mind Sheff. I think we will be lucky to hold on to Clarke, Baker, and Murphy as the transfer window closes. THere will be teams at the bottom of the championship who fancy them !

I am not sure if anybody really would want Baker, as much as he's been good for City in League 1, he was mediocre at best in the Championship. Likewise Clarke.

baker and clarke have had chances at championship level and have not been good why would a club spend money on them

Even SISU can't cheat here. 1 out 1 in.

True but remember Dunn has already gone so lets hope that Steven Pressley chooses his next target wisely

A player can be replaced, but the new player would be on 75% wage of the player that left. No excess can be carried over.

So how much was Dunn on?

8k a week I believe he's on

Dunn? Or Sheffers? Sheffers I can believe.

As a NOPMer, I hope they stick around until Pressley feel he needs to make additions (as he said after Dunn going he didn't). Not sure if that's contradictory.

A wasted career and talent

What can you say about Macca ?All I can say is he has wasted a promising career, and done nothing for a couple of seasons. He has talent but we hardly saw it at times as he has the irritating habit of becoming invisible during games.Birmingham saw his talent and I thought he would go on and be a Premier League player, but he lost form and has never got it back. He is a Cov Kid like me so it isn't nice to write negative stuff about him,but he may look back one day and think I should have done more.

the real facts surrounding GMc's transfer to B'ham may not surface for a while,
but, i wouldn't put much, if any, blame in his direction,
don't forget there may have been many clauses in the contract,
Cov Kid, & always will have Cov at heart

Of all the players that Pressley put up for sale Macca is the one that irritated me the most.
Not because I disagree with the managers decision, but because of what I wrote about previously,
he has thrown away a talent and I can't see him getting it back.
Chesterfield if he goes have offered him a lifeline but it's a bit late now I feel for Macca to show any type of form
there, and even if he does it's far too late in his career to be of much use.

It will not be hard to improve any of the contracts and situation players are having at the minute no matter what division, more than a few will test the resolve of the owners at this time..Clarke and Moussa will be prime targets for a few clubs out there in and above league 1, Christie is being looked at to go higher and if decent money comes in will be hard for him never mind the club to turn down....

Very important that SP gets his way and holds on to certain players for the season to see what transpires within the club, but i will not be shocked to see a few being sold and a few frees coming in.
