Nottingham Forest striker David McGoldrick has completed his permanent move to Portman Road.

"The 25-year-old joined Ipswich on loan from Forest in January with a view to sealing a long-term contract this summer.

McGoldrick, who moved to Forest from Southampton for £1million in the summer of 2009, made 14 appearances for Ipswich and scored four goals.

He had spent the previous six months on loan at Coventry, where he scored 17 goals in 25 appearances."

Good luck to him.

Chief Commentator!
Good luck McGoldrick. Gave me some of my best moments supporting City.

Ditto. Had his critics even before he first kicked a CCFC ball. I hadn't got high hopes after talking with a Forest fan mate, but he proved a lot of doubters wrong! One of the best all round strikers I've seen in my time for CCFC, even if he was playing for us in league one. Brought players into the game, and knew where the net was himself
