Isn't there a limit on the number of appeals you can make? Robins sort of suggested such in the interview.
Think that's sensible. Was a bit too subjective to risk a ban extension if it's just a 1 game ban, especially as he has just been injured.
Yeah but I think that only happens if it is a 'frivolous' appeal, if the board understands why it was appealed, then they don't extend the ban I don't think?

Would be unlikely to have the ban revoked anyway as the FA only go against referee decisions when the error is clear, this is debatable. Get the 1 game out of the way on Tuesday and let him recover for Saturday.

They have decided not to appeal. Just the one match ban, which will allow him to further recover from his injury anyway.
