How many games will he banned for?

I think it's just the one as although was a straight red it's a professional foul not violent conduct.

Bloke behind me said I was wrong and is 100% a 3 game ban

Yeah it's only one game, for the reasons that you said.

He could get an extra game ban if they appeal and the decision is rejected

So we could keep appealing until we get to 3, so this bloke might well be right.

Can fans appeal? Might come in handy if someone shit ever gets a ban.

Im not sure of the number, but if they appeal and it gets rejected the ban increases.

Maybe he still has a niggling injury and they will let him take the 1 match off to recover and get the ban out of the way now?

Yeah but I think that only happens if it is a 'frivolous' appeal, if the board understands why it was appealed, then they don't extend the ban I don't think?

Anyone seen the back page of the Telegraph today? it's starts with 'Ron' when they're referring to Mcdonald being sent off. Have I missed something there or is it another 'scoop' for the simon and the boys.

Can understand the 'Ron' thing to be honest, cos I think that's come from Simone Goblet and Sandy Truner.

"the telegraph understands" ffs. They have a story about people daubing cocks on cars in Nuneaton on their website. Which is funny cos it reminds me of Partridge. Not Fernando. They've headlined it with 'vandals daub xxxx giant penises on cars across Nuneaton'. Is that Castlemaine giant penises, or that inferior mint giant penises?

Would be unlikely to have the ban revoked anyway as the FA only go against referee decisions when the error is clear, this is debatable. Get the 1 game out of the way on Tuesday and let him recover for Saturday.

Does anybody know when Haynes is back? If he was fit we could easily shift Stokes to that position as cover.

They have decided not to appeal. Just the one match ban, which will allow him to further recover from his injury anyway.
