Again yesterday, he showed his leadership in bucket loads . A goal behind & urging his players on ……2 goals down & the same .
No histrionics , but calm encouragement throughout, while he plays his normal 100% game .
A fantastic captain of our club .

One of the best signings in many a year.

Hardly ever has a poor game.

Its Amazing isnt it that he gives the ball away probably 3 times in the game and we are all saying its his poorest game for us.
It just shows how good he really is.

He gave the ball away twice in the first 5 minutes and it's like witnessing a once in a lifetime event!

Not his best game yesterday but he was still one of the best players on the pitch

Yeah he I did and I was panicking for him as was thinking bet he’s never started a game like this before he must be flustered. I was then watching him carefully as to what he was going to do next pass as I was like yeah but he’s Matty Grimes he’ll know how to play himself in, sure enough next touch took more care over a 5 yard pass than I’ve ever seen.

FL Identified that Sheaf was not good enough and midfield needed a a better controlling influence, a better continuity player. Then they went and paid for him never mind his age. Probably one of the best managerial decisions in the recent history of the club. I love watching him.

No, I would say he probably did believe that Sheaf was good enough, but that he was just so unavailable to play all the time.

We were all frustrated by that.

I think the fitness thing was just an added complication. grimes is a major upgrade not just a replacement.

He is for sure.

Sheaf has so many more errors in him and his pass completion compared to Grimes, must surely pale in comparison, you would think
