Are we thinking he’s our new captain?

I don’t know much about him in that regard. Is he gobby?
I always think Sheaf is too nice/quiet

Fantastic signing. One of the very best in the league. Absolute coup to get him I think.

He's very much in the Sheaf, lead by example mould, rather than a gobby type.

Shocking reveal vid. Club media is a bigger downgrade than Block 15 this season

Absolutely class signing. This season was falling apart a few weeks ago, now we're 6pts off the play-offs and have signed one of the best and most consistent CM's in the league, a real statement signing IMO.
Crazy isn't it, cant help but feel excited. Hopefully galvanise the fans and the players alike

Interview's on youtube already:

I get the Swans being miffed, this vid must hit them in the gut like the one O'Hare did when he signed for Shef U.

But that's the name of the game, they'll get over it, the important thing is a big welcome Mr Grimes, he sounds very positive and will add some steel and creativity to the midfield.

One of the best parts of football is watching players who cement themselves at the club and make it their own, one of the worst parts is when some other club pinches them.

Just like when we lost Hamer and Ohare and Hyam
To be honest you can add McF and Gyo to that list, it hurt to see all those players go in the space of a few seasons. Pity that COH had to piss off on a free and Hamer is helping a team I despise get promoted, but they'll always be special players in this club's history.

So I do get how Swansea fans will be feeling, but the next club favourite is never far away.

OMG so pleased...... I am usually the eternal optimist....but I have a reall nagging feeling re this being another Chris Chilton... or the goalie whose name I cannot recall ,both getting injuries and hardly playing a game for the City...do hope is just a silly silly feeling... Good luck to our layesy Sky Blue!

Hope springs eternal though.

(Christ, I'd almost managed to put the Chilton debacle behind me 😉).
