I'd say there's no way. He's not trained with the squad (who are playing well), had no time to understand FL and coaching team's system and could even be more likely to come a cropper by a team looking to prove they can do without him and show the swansea support same.
He'd get the shit kicked out of him.

Likewise he is a class act, why would you not have him in your squad and play him if needed.

I didn't say he wouldn't be on the bench, but for the reasons I gave, we don't need to play him. PLus, we have a better chance of beating swansea with him out of their side anyway.

Buzzing it’s virtually done! Definitely from what’s being said I wouldn’t expect an announcement till Friday/Saturday

Interesting it’s a long term deal assume either three or four years. Very excited about this one, seems perfect for us and I expect our future captain once Sheaf leaves in the summer

If Swansea have any sense they'll delay the paperwork until after the weekend registration deadline, which is usually 12 noon on Friday I believe.

Unless there's an agreement between the clubs not to play him.

I doubt the player himself would particularly want to be thrown in to his debut against the club he's just left.

There’s no need to throw him in Saturday. He’ll have had barely any time to even figure out how we play or know his teammates.

We’ve Won 3 on the bounce and his head will probably be a bit fucked making his debut at their place and the reception he’ll get.
And the bonus will be, he's not playing for them, so that weakens their line-up anyway.

At least we are a bigger club than the likes of Swansea! Fed up the amount of times we lost our players to clubs like them and cardiff

am I excited by the deal, not really, big fee for a DM and age a factor looks like Doug changed his model, if it pushes us into play offs then all good

Losing players you don't want to lose to teams in the same league fucking hurts and used to happen to us all the time. I'm happy we appear to be fairly high in the Championship pecking order these days. Swansea fans will be telling themselves anything to cope.
