I for one am just glad to see that there is at least one player interested in signing for us, albeit currently on trial. We need cover in this position and a young player with a point to prove might be useful.

But if that player was, say, Leigh Jenkinson, how would you feel then?

Highlights of a few games and 4 of his Hereford goals, my faithful disciple.
Pardon my skepticism but I'll take the word of someone who saw him regularly in his Reading days and said if he got fit he'd be a very good league one player my good man.

Ignoring the embargo shenanigans but all our "signings" will be of this ilk whilst we're in this division and don't have one of those "football manager - esque" warchests to splash £m's on the next Kevin Kyle's of this world.

You can have Manset with our blessings if you can convince your owner that he should cancel this stupid groundshare agreement with SISU.

I have no idea about the quality of this player but anyone who is willing to go on trial with a company that has zero chance of hiring them in the next 5 weeks and quite possibly very significantly beyond that obviously has no confidence in their ability to be hired elsewhere which suggests it's a bad buy.

Edit - or has an incompetent and uniformed agent.
