no, they weren't before the 3.60 pints until about 2:30 you could basically walk up to the bar and have at most 1 person in front of youThe concourses and fan zones were already busy. They'll be back to their old stomping grounds when they return to £6.20.
Well Doug has kept it going with the posh seats near the dug out going for £60 a game and they sell out within days! Why stop at 45 , keep going

You know we’re still a loss making club?

Why would someone stop paying £6.20 at the ground to go and pay £6.20 somewhere else?
which is why giving out cheap pints while asking for £35 to take a kid to Xmas football makes no sense to me. I want my club to get the balance right. I don't think they have with U18s prices. That's it.
Keep going up if they sell put .. hopefully 80 plus next yearWell Doug has kept it going with the posh seats near the dug out going for £60 a game and they sell out within days!
i'm fine, you are one making a fool of yourselfIf I was that desperate, I would have quoted the two posts from yesterday saying a similar thing.
Cheer up mate!
The pints are pretty rubbish in the ground.
Because the pints dont taste like pissExcept they won’t.
Why would they “fuck back off” to somewhere charging the same amount?
i'm fine, you are one making a fool of yourself
is that the concourse which you mentioned? No, the concourses themselves are busier and much earlier now.It was always busy in the fan zone outside the ground. I stopped going because it took too long to get a dreadful watered down pint in a plastic cup.

Yes and and I am talking about the concourses. The outside bars are also much, much busier as well?

Is there anyone on this thread who has actually decided not to attend a game they otherwise would have done due to the new pricing?
Most of us on here are season ticket holders aren’t we?Is there anyone on this thread who has actually decided not to attend a game they otherwise would have done due to the new pricing?

Il ask you this
Do you think 35 pound is reasonable for a child
Do you believe 45 - 60 pound is reasonable for an adult to watch second tier football
Both are too expensive
Swamped and spread out like a conga line!It was always busy in the fan zone outside the ground. I stopped going because it took too long to get a dreadful watered down pint in a plastic cup.
That's my point. Most of us on here are season ticket holders aren’t we?
Christmas doesn't have the same ring to it these days although I'm sure it's still relevant to the kids. That's my point.
As a season ticket holder I don't really mind them ramping up prices for Brum/West Brom etc. If some fans only want to turn up for the bigger/derby games they can pay a bit extra.
I think doing the same for boxing day is a bit cynical since it's christmas.
But at the end of the day the club is still losing money and money is ultimately the biggest driver of performance, so I can't really blame Doug for trying to maximise.
Is there anyone on this thread who has actually decided not to attend a game they otherwise would have done due to the new pricing?
I'll put you down as a no thenif Ipswich is A+ then I won't be going because I'm not paying £70 to take two kids to watch a second tier game. If my kids were with me on Boxing Day then we wouldn't be going to Swansea either.
They could of bought a kids season ticket for £50 though.which is why giving out cheap pints while asking for £35 to take a kid to Xmas football makes no sense to me. I want my club to get the balance right. I don't think they have with U18s prices. That's it.
You are the one who raised the issue of this affecting us. You said, "we'd be paying".Seems to be a lot 'I am not bothered because it doesn't affect me'.
I think the reason it annoys me is because I would be angry and realistically gutted if I was charged £45 away at West Brom, Birmingham, Swansea or Leicester.
They could of bought a kids season ticket for £50 though.
Me. I can only get to a few games a season now. Was choosing between Norwich and Birmingham last month. When I saw it was £45 a game, I opted for Norwich. Is there anyone on this thread who has actually decided not to attend a game they otherwise would have done due to the new pricing?
Or £12 per game each in the normal stand and they can miss any game they want. Seriously what more can Doug do, hes given people super cheap season ticket options.*could have
seats would be empty most games because of clashes with their training, and even if they rode to games really fast on their bikes, they'd still miss it.
The cherry pickers shouldnt be getting cheap options.
More money for Doug then as the Birmingham game sold out anyway.Me. I can only get to a few games a season now. Was choosing between Norwich and Birmingham last month. When I saw it was £45 a game, I opted for Norwich.
Take them to a cheaper game, the kids wont know the difference.I'm not biting. I'll just say that no one's asking for cheap, but that £35 for a kid to watch a game of second tier football is a p*sstake. Latrrrz, Greggs!
