Told you he is a fraud of a player. Slowerthanplatt thinks that's the same as claiming a corner

No for the third now time now I don’t think that’s what I said. What I said was that they’re both trying to influence the referee to gain an advantage for their team.

I can’t remember which L2 manager said it but they said they’d love to have Doyle in their team not because of his footballing ability but because he basically officiates and runs the game

That's okay Hill83. It was way back in 1972. Still miss her though. She was only 23 and left behind a husband and 3 nippers.

No try reading David. What I am saying and what I have said the whole time is they’re both trying to influence the referee to get a decision to benefit their side.

Mcsheffrey used to fall over and win penalties week after week. Who ever complained?

And of course we may not even be in L1 if Bayliss didn’t take a tumble against Notts County

So now it’s okay to dive as long as it doesn’t influence an outcome of a match (es)

Probably deserved to win it but they could’ve scored another couple as well so I’ll take it. Still in the hat, looking forward to tomorrow

There's no money in the replay. The gate will be around 2.5K and prices will be reduced, and we only get around 40% of the gate money, it won't be much more than break even.

I can't believe any team that does more scouting than 'look at player in league below that has scored goals' is going to pay any significant money for him.

Can see it going sour there, he wants to move to get himself at the higher level and increase his bank balance but if they're only getting offers of £500k they aren't going to want to sell. He's going to rock the boat to get a move.

He's an average League 1 footballer at best who couldn't get into our team in League 2.

Not read the full thread but in summary thought we played some excellent stuff. Walsh and Kelly have been absolutely superb the last few games. Walsh in particular is a cut above this level. Not afraid to take the ball in difficult areas and play through the lines. The formation seems to have clicked but I just wonder whether instead of 3-4-2-1 we could adapt back to 4-2-3-1 by dropping one of the centre backs for another attacker... dare I say someone in the Enobakhare mould.

Everybody including me giving JCH dogs abuse for blatant diving. He’s been doing that for years.

I must admit I wasn’t giving him abuse when he dived and got a penalty (that wasn’t) vs Mansfield away that changed our season.

Did anyone happen to notice a high percentage of bellends who obviously don’t watch us play there today? We moved twice because of nobs shouting forward and going ballistic at us playing it out from the back. We lumped it forward to noone on one occasion which was greeted with ‘that’s more like it’.

Im talking about his first spell here when he rolled into defenders rolled off then and then looked like he’d been shot then get up and convert the penalty

Hes average 20 plus goals in league 1 over a season which puts him well ahead of mcnulty in that regard

The fact that he is talked about so often on here after today shows his value - can you imagine anyone saying the same if Biamou or Bakayoko were playing? We’d just applaud them as they got hauled off after a predictably ineffective display for the opposition

He played far more than Biamou in the league 2 run in

I think part of the reason it works is the box midfield draws them in and leaves space for the wingbacks TBH

I found it frustrating when he played for us how much he would slow down play, shield the ball and then fall over. So glad we don’t have to watch that bollocks anymore. Tedious.

I was in the home end today. Their fans were really getting frustrated because we were dominating possession especially in 2nd half. they were very complimentary about us and one bloke reckoned he was putting £20 on us to win the league as we were the best team he’d seen by a long way.

We were good throughout but for the first 20 minutes of the second half we were excellent
