I do not know why people are so offended by sisu rants. For those of us who did go to home games every other saturday, Sisu have taken this from us .
Nobody else stopped paying the rent, nobody else moved us to northampton

and before we talk about unfair rent - SISU supposedly pride themselves in their Due diligence - so it is hard to have sympathy

It definitely is tedious. I've said the same. But this one is perfectly valid in my opinion. Fuck them. If it is called off I'm glad it is. Their fault.

I agree with you on this one. For once it's valid to winge at sisu for this one. Cunts.

I am not offended by it nor do I have any sympathy for Sisu my point is it must be a fun part of your life logging into the forum thinking "How shall I bitch about thee today!"

All those who were going to attend Sixfields this Saturday can now do some "out of town shopping" with their other halves!

I've posted it on other threads, me and the missus took a deal and stayed at the Ricoh in a pitchside room on Friday night, watched the Arsenal game in the casino and had a little flutter plus dinner etc. Saturday morning the sun came up over the Tesco stand and the pitch looked as good as a snooker table !!

I got to say I did similar after the Port Vale game earlier in the season and the Ricoh looked spectacular.

I have just read the comments from the club yesterday and they confirmed that a decision on the game would not be made until Saturday. Is this game definitly off??

I live in Northampton and can confirm that it has rained a fair bit. All Northamptonshire and Kettering park pitch games have been cancelled.

I'd be in the same boat so I know where you're coming from, is it not just a bit tedious when you see every thread being turned into a Sisu rant thread?

It's not tedious. Its a perfectly natural reaction to a bunch of half-wits who have screwed the fans of my club and totally destroyed CCFC. I will take every opportunity to bitch at them. Even when they say they are going I will bitch at them for taking so long to do it, and when all at SISU are gone and forgotten I will bitch about the fact they ever existed anywhere.:thinking about::blue:

stop being a SISU apologist you know it would never happen because of the ground undersoil heating etc

Robo mate, you really need a lesson in statistical chance.

All the air in your room has never gathered in the corner killing everyone from asphyxiation but statistically it's possible. You'd be a fool to argue it though.

Fact is the Ricoh is a modern stadium, not built on a tip, this game would never have been called off.

The whole stadium looked superb, I couldn't believe the view from the room, it was very sad as well. We have to get back to that facility ASAP !

One point if many more matches fall foul of the weather we could have issues with getting games scheduled - haven't Northampton already had a couple of games called off ? There will only be a certain amount of suitable dates for the matches to be moved to.

Like I said given the chances of the history of the Ricoh with respect to games being abandoned, it would of been slim to suggest it.

Does any one remember 1977 we never played at home (HR), from Feb to the end of April because of the pitch being bad, we played 7 away games on the trot.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but it will be really interesting to know how many matches are left to play at Shitfields between now and the end of the season. Anybody know?

1. Its not been called off yet
2. That decision wont be taken until Sat Morning - Walsall are not travelling that far
3. Ricoh is out of the question
4. Sixfields pitch has been remarkably good in every game we have played there - actually better than the quagmire of the Ricoh after Xmas for the past few seasons.

the banner may have to wait for its first Sixfields appearance....

Heavy rain forecast for most of today and tomorrow in to Saturday early morning (according to BBC). Might as well call it off. Or better still let Andrea and RFC turn up and call it off at 2:30pm.

We left Highfield Road nearly 9 years ago. And it may have been called off; you can't prove that it wouldn't

Move on.

It's possible that there could be hurricane force winds that make the ricoh collapse and would have prevented the game, or perhaps we could get hit by a meteor wiping out the human race, leaving only cockroaches and Tim Fisher alive.

But while these are both possible scenarios they are unlikely enough that we don't need to take them into account when we look at the perfect Ricoh pitch and state categorically if this game were at the ricoh it wouldn't be being called off.

Well you can state that "categorically" because no one has played on it all year. What you dont know is what state it would be in if we were there and playing on it. My guess is that the game would be on but the pitch would be shite and not suiting our football at all.Playing our matches whilst others had them called off, never did us much good in the last few years did it as we lost most of those games.
Lots of reasons to want to go back to the Ricoh but the pitch isnt one.

I think ACL should pay SISU to move the game.

Surely they cannot turn that down.

At the end of the day whether a game had of been called off at the Ricoh based on history is highly unlikely but not impossible given the wrong weather issues that could of made the Ricoh unplayable in the past, remember when we played Norwich in the snow a couple of seasons back for instance? The staff at the Ricoh up until now have done a tremendously fine job and should be praised for it. To say it will never happen is naive, but chances are tht it's not likely.
