Looked sharp today.

Hoping to see a switch to 4 at the back soon and EMC getting lots of game time in Wright's absence.

Don't think we can fit in either EMC or Sakamoto when we go three at the back really

Unless it’s a 3-4-3 which we’ve never really tried. I’d like for us to play 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 with wingers we look a lot more dangerous.

I like the idea of Kitching and/or Binks being an inverted LB. Kitching has played LWB decently and Binks today and other games joins the attack often. It may offer us an option to get that 3-2-5 attacking shape that’s in fashion atm.

Binks is so a frustrated left back. You can tell he yearns for the overlap.

Perry was doing the tour of the lounges yesterday harry asked him who are the players impressed with in training, without hesitation he said mason clarke, all the players rate him, if he can do what he did yesterday more often you can see why, needs games

That's exactly it, players (especially new players) aren't given any time or leeway to find their feet , to get used to their new surroundings and new team mates and new coaching regime.
Mason Clarke will be a very good player for us, he showed yesterday what he's capable of already

Play him in his position and his confidence will continue to grow.
How he fits with Haji is another matter ..

I’m desperately looking for positives at the minute but I am really liking the looking of EMC at the minute. He looked really good yesterday and has done for a few games off the bench (Sheff Utd for one).

I do believe he can become a great player for us eventually and a bit of a slow burner to get going I.e Gyokeres, Hamer. He will come good

The only doubts about Hamer was his discipline if anyone tries to make out that he was poor, or anything different they’re just delusional and blind

His positional discipline defensively was also very poor & decision making wasn't the best. He was good from the start & clearly had incredible talent but still had to adjust his game somewhat to become the dominant force he is now.

I hope so.

I think he can get into good scoring positions but I've yet to see him having the ability to take on and beat players at this level.

Nothing like Vik or even Sheaf in terms of first season impact though.
