🤣🤣🤣 even i look good for 20 seconds!!!

Well nearly 😍

I just have an opinion on the video, im happy to trust DA, Doug and FL have done the work and due diligence on him. For me its looking at it and knowing what he is from the little we see. My opinion costs nothing, bit different than an investment in a player.

We don't need thousands of hours to see pace, and ability can play both sides. Could be an ideal signing as he is young enough to improve

A cheap loan so we’ve got an option other than Rapha on the wings is fine. He sounds like a bit of a gamble that he’s actually any good butnpositionally makes sense. As long as he can actually play on the right and not “can also go on the right (but he’s fucking awful) like EMC.

He would be our fourth left winger otherwise after Wright EMC and Rapha. Which is a bit weird. Though with the left backs maybe we’re onto some crazy left side overload tactic.

I think this is wrong. Pretty sure Rapha prefers to play on the right and as much as some of us like Wright on the left he's clearly not a Lampard style winger and he obviously has no intention of playing him there.
This guy would come in initially as second choice to EMC.

He’s a left winger who can play on the right. Same as this guy.

He was playing right pre season and played right in his first competitive start for us didn't he? I don't think the stats of where he played some games as a teen in Australia are wholly relevant. More so where we see him developing.

Its arguable they’re all primarily left wingers with another position.

He played on the right but we have zero right wingers with Sakamoto out.

Which is why I find going after another left winger odd.

But you're arguing with yourself. Lampard sees Wright as a CF, Rapha is a developing kid who the small amount of evidence we have on him at this club suggests he will go on the right more often than not. That's if he's even ready.
EMC is a left winger and a very good one, but if you accept Lampard has no intention of playing Wright on the left then suddenly a signing like this makes a lot of sense.
I like Wright on the left too but it's irrelevant.

I just think we’re lacking in proper right wingers (not on this site though!)

I'd say we're lacking on both sides tbf. Maybe this guy can genuinely play both which is the kind of 2 in 1 signing we need if we want to spend big funds elsewhere.
Can't say I know enough about him, I doubt anyone on here does tbf.

Yeah hopefully he can and he spent the last year getting really good. I’d just be a lot happier with Santos McForeignname who scored ten from the right in Azerbaijan

If he can play either side and the club are happy with his ability and attitude then go for it. Sakamoto will not last the whole season injury free and nor will EMC.

If we don’t sell MVE then I would use Rapha as our right wing cover for Saka, as I think he his shown - in the Luton game, against admittedly low level opposition - that he might well have what it takes. If not, then I really think that MVE can do a very good job there and we have KKH to cover at right back.

This is not to say that I wouldn’t like more proven cover for Saka - I would - but in my opinion we have limited resources and more pressing needs elsewhere in the team.

Its mind boggling on here it truly is.. We are at a stage where players that will make a difference to us are not falling off trees and every other club wants them or has them.....

We are building a quality squad without an open check book. Time is needed to find and get a deal that fits the club, not fits a fan who thinks Champ manager is real......

Fellas, calm down be happy we are a club on the up and stop being underwhelmed about the model. Understand it appreciate it and enjoy the wins. Because after watching this club for 45 years, i can remember more times to be down than ever feeling like we are on the up.

I also remember having to sell our best not to get better but to fucking survive....... Entitled little snot blowers, get some balls and look at how far we have come...
Great post, couldn't have said it better myself
