A league table of managerial performance, Marky sits 16th with a game in hand on Fergie! :p

also some guy called Andy Thorne is in 100th whoever he is...

I don't get how Steve Bruce is that high. His points ratio should be 1.00 looking at those stats.

They ballsed up Hull's points by the looks of it, they're up near the top of their division.

16th in the entire league is pretty damn good.

Mark robins is 10 for managers that have played over 20 games though

He's ahead of Di Canio Wingy, but behind Howe and Flynn/ Saunders. Interestingly Saunders has two entries, at 11 and 119, and Howe has two too at 2 and 88, which does suggest that some managers work at some clubs and don't work at others (though in Saunders case it is still very early to judge his Wolves career).

It's a terrible piece of 'research'. The article reads as if they've done some serious analysis, and they've produced something I could have thrown together with Microsoft Excel and a couple of hours on Wikipedia. Points per game means nothing without considering other factors, and the fact Flynn is 6th on the strength of 3 games says it all about its scientific merits.

The list has been updated since I posted the article this morning.

obviously the comments pointing out obvious faults, made those excellent journalists at the BBC edit their work for a change :claping hands:

What makes this funnier is the pictures of certain managers are meant to correspond to the next list of "26" i.e Fergie picture = no#1 then Mick Macarthy = no#26, after the re-edit none of the remaining pictures match up hahahaha
