Its interesting you used AI to see who in 1910 the word was claimed to be formed. You have to accept I am up against an award winning Journalist of international recognition here so give me some slack.

How was the story received about the cat stuck in a shed in Basildon out of interest? I heard it was one of your best pieces?
Used AI? I Googled the quote, it took me 10 seconds.

Have you given up on engaging with my actual points already? And why do you keep avoiding my question about what word we should use to describe people who are prejudiced against Muslims? That’s four times I’ve asked now, starting to look a bit suspicious…

A bit suspicious - are you going to send me to a special place? As for refusing to engage - thoughts?

He is fond of calling everyone he disagrees with ‘childish’ which is actually…pretty childish.

No the views you expressed about arresting someone on US soil was as no leader does that and none suspend all arms sales either - in fact in our case we increase them to record levels.

Arresting criminals is ‘childish’ but killing people after inviting them for peace talks is ‘grown up’. Got it.

It’s easier being a contrarian, I get it. No real thinking required, no convictions to be held and an easy kick gained from seeing people react to bait and whataboutery.

If you can answer my question first then I’ll gladly indulge you on your new poll.

So for the fifth time - if Islamaphobe is off the table, how would you prefer we describe someone who is prejudiced against Muslims?

I have no idea - if you want Anti Islam - its not my poll and anyway we know you have prejudice here towards the Islam movement so will always divert to suit your agenda - as indeed you did on here yesterday

Its not contrarian - no political leader would arrest people in that circumstance - its laughable

You are just naive. Its a big bad world and the fittest survive,

Again, Israel invited Hamas to peace talks in Qatar then killed them.

You believe might makes right, I don’t.

You are talking about Donald Trump not arresting the leader on US soil and you accuse me of deflecting

We have sold more arms to Israel in the last 3 months than in the previous 15. Its a growth industry. UK weapons may have killed those lovely chaps from Hamas.

How do you cope in the actual world?

There’s more important things in the world than money. Funnily enough science is the study of the ‘actual world’ and tries to better society by advancing our knowledge of it.

That’s how I ‘cope’, not by making apologies for Putin and Netanyahu as you have on here.

He would rather insult people personally than show any sort of sympathy or empathy towards Palestinian women and children being killed.

I would assume without looking that there have been far more deaths in African conflicts in the Congo and Somalia over the same period.

Strangely we do not have outrage on this forum from the the humanitarians on these atrocities - can't think of a single post on them.

No marches either?

Why?

Deflection again. Pointless.

My “agenda” if you can call it that, or my “prejudice towards the Islam movement” (sic) is mainly about insisting that not every Muslim on the planet is a dribbling racist, misogynist homophobe by association.

This is based mainly on the conversations I have with Muslim friends, colleagues and relatives - have you had any of those recently, or is your understanding of the issue rooted entirely in polls?

Ah its the politicians "this is what I hear on the doorstep" when the overwhelming poll evidence is the opposite.

What a convincing argument - the unproven anecdote against any measured evidence of actual people questioned.

So you believe the evidence favours the opposite of my argument then? “Every Muslim on the planet is a dribbling racist, misogynist homophobe by association”?

I took a big pay cut to retrain, now about halfway through that.

Not sure how it relates to your argument that we should keep enabling a genocide because it’s good for business?
I'm pleased for all that time you'll get back where you're not marking or lesson planning in your holidays. Can't buy time whatever you earn, so that work life balance is your reward 😉

I started out on 22k and ended up on just over 50k about 6 years later. Money was never the problem with that job.

I do miss the ‘union jollies’ as Grendel put it though.
