Thinking about trying to get a Manc Cov supporters group going. None of the affiliation or meeting the players stuff that the others do just maybe a whatsapp group or a group on social media somewhere where we can arrange to meet up to go to games up here together or even meeting up in a pub somewhere that would let us watch the game via Beirut.

Spoke to a couple of you on here before but never put something up and as none of my mates are going to Doncaster next week I thought this would be the best time.

Let me know if you interested or DM me your number and ill create a group or something to start.

Think there's a couple from Manchester on here mate.

I'm just down the 62 in Liverpool. Would be good to have a North West thing going.

I assume you know of Joey and Knowl from the Nii Lamptey show? They are based in Manchester and I assume, will know of several others. Might be the best platform to start

There is a Northern Supporters Club Based on Facebook:
Log in to Facebook | Facebook

I'm based in Chester, would always be happy to meet up with fellow Sky Blues, whether to watch a match or just for a pint.

I'm in Altrincham just South of Manchester. I am yet to discover any Cov fans despite being here for 9 years so it would be good to set something up

Same if you fancy it to send us your mobile number, just had a message from someone from Wigan so a North West thing seems good.

Would be good to get a proper North west one sorted. I normally travel on my own.

Sure someone said before there were some in Manchester who watched games in the Tib Street Tavern.

There’s three Cov fans in Ramsbottom and I’m up the road in Rawtenstall. I’d be up for pubs/WhatsApp/sharing travel etc

No, there is another who works at the Donkey sanctuary, met him a couple of days before meeting you for a beer.

Now you live in Malvern, maybe you could setup a Worcestershire branch, my brother -in-law lives in Droitwich and would probably join.

No way??!! The Donkey Sanctuary? I was there just before we left the island! I wish I knew at the time! I know the vicar of the small Baptist church in Totland was from Coventry and was a city fan as well!
I remember our meet up in the Castle in Newport. Great to have a chat with you. Really missing the island. :emoji_sob:
If you're passing by Malvern way, let me know, and we can have that 2nd pint!

Am I missing something here? Do we not have an active Northern Sky Blues supporters club? I see them at the Roost and games when I am home.

Yeah I'd be keen, I've been to the Courtyard and Tibb street Tavern in Manchester to watch the sky games before now but never met any fellow City fans. Met a City fan from Sale in the Pilcrow after Accrington game last season. And my mate from Withington/Didsbury often comes to Cov games. We'll probably end up going Fleetwood, Rochdale, Accrington and Blackpool this season.
Also if any of you fancy actually playing football (I know exercise, eurgh) I'm at this
Turn Up and Play Football in Manchester, South Didsbury, players wanted for 5 - 11 a side football teams
most Thursdays (and occasionally Sundays) usually wearing a Cov top.

I did say I'd seen something in the past but all we've found so far is a group on FB for north in general. Please put anyone our way or visa vera if there is something established

Just the Sky games, But they've always been very accommodating and allocated me one TV even when the pubs been full of united fans watching their game. They also have booths on the lower floor that can be booked if you have about 6-8 people.
Worth pointing out that they sometimes don't allow footy shirts though.
This is Tibb Street tavern by the way.

That sounds good for Sky games then, guessing Brum will be on TV if we get through, although I'll probably go to that.

Be good to find somewhere willing to let us have a room area to stream normal games. So I guess put the feelers out to any decent places you drink at.
