Not sure he knew the copper was going to stamp on him!
But having listened to their solicitor it's clear they're going to milk it to that end.
It's still unclear what happened leading up to this but I'm fairly sure when it comes out it won't look good on them.

Though the copper has probably ensured they get a free pass and a few bob with his actions.

But if he does that wouldn't the coppers who got attacked sue him for assault too?

Can they do so? Aren't they governed by police regulations?

Plenty do.

Defenceless makes it sound like he's a little child, not somebody who has been hitting others.

Good to see the spin though

No defenceless just sounds like someone who can not defend themselves from being stamped on.

Still if you want to be an edgelord then crack on.

I mean he could have.

I hope you pray for him tonight.

It’s the stamp that’s the nail in the coffin really. The kick he had an outside chance of getting away with if he handcuffed him immediately afterwards. But the stamp - no go. Good job he missed it or he could be on a murder charge

The officer should rightly be punished and sacked but lets not let the offender who was arrested now play the victim to the whole country.

Nah, no way should he be sacked. Agree with the rest of your post.

Andy Burnham has said that the video is not the whole story and it’s not as open and shut as it seems

If only this took place in a building which is heavily covered by CCTV and 24/7 security as opposed to an airport we might actually have a chance of finding out the full story and not just a small snapshot of what someone has recorded on their phone.

Apparently the police now have all the available airport CCTV so we'll see what emerges

We can't be seen to be kicking this around like a political football though.

.... was the initial quote from the police when talking about the tasered man's head.

As much as I'd love to see some of these ignorant of the law cunts in this country have their heads smashed in, kicking someone on the floor in the head isn't fair game.

The officer will likely receive a harsher sentence that the woman basher.

Have you seen the video?

Genuine question - what possible further context is there that could justify the stamp to the head after the boot to the face?

I’m sure the prick deserved it, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay for an officer of the law to stamp on someone’s head when they are already completely incapacitated.

I can’t think of anything in the world that could have just happened that makes that okay

I'm happy to let justice prevail on both the initial incident and the copper, but fek me I'd love to see that lawyer get banged up, although suspect we'll see him on some reality show soon instead. Definitely wants his 15 minutes of fame.

No. I personally would probably do it, yeh. But I’d want a police officer to (maybe after that first almighty kick) to arrest him and let him face the full force of the law so they could spend the rest of their life getting beaten up in jail. Maybe rough him up in the van lol

That is 100% horseshit - the copper used force which any reasonable person would consider as disproportionate, given the bloke was lying prone on the floor. Nothing that he had done prior to this video can change that. Burnham is talking out of his arse!

tbf a senior politician is entirely right to wait until it's actually investigated before passing judgement.

Burnham also hasn't said that the whole video makes the kick and stamp okay. All he has said is wait for the process to finish.

Mr Burnham told the local BBC radio station he had seen full footage of the incident and that the situation was not "clear cut".

O'Day just wants a bandwagon to spin in between protests about Gaza, Fracking, Equal rights for people who dress up as PVC dogs or whatever cause he's on today.

I don't know what to make of that tbh. You can't avoid the past and wash it away. If you ARE going to try vand wash it away though, you can't do anything much better than a river can you. .
