Fully behind SP and hope he exceeds even his expectations of success for the Sky Blues. A thought I was having was as an ex - defender how will he out perform the other ex defender managers we have had recently with his style of play as opposed to other attributes. Likes of Aidy B, A Thorn, Micky Adams, Coleman did not fair well with their defensive approach to the game with the team not getting a lot of goals. With MR it was more attacking although we would inevitably concede as long as we tried and score more than the other team.

The one thing I hope for is that he takes some of MR's philosophy and goes for goals. If he can make us tighter at the back too that would be wonderful.

He could be a blessing for us at the back. Let's hope this dosen't contribute to less attacking though as you say Kg. is that long ago. Cannot even remember him as a player although I remember the hype when we signed him.
