Seen the picture of the copper with the cut right down his face. Looked nasty.

Of course. Idiots part of every protest. Stewards and fans get hurt sometimes when goals go in. What’s the difference?

One of the protesters said it will never stop until the owners are gone as it’s a joke they’ve not spent more on the biggest club in the world. They should be winning the title every year and the champions league and it’s a joke clubs like Leicester have finished ahead of them

Hardly the Tollpuddle Martyrs is it?

Are we talking about protest reason or people getting hurt by heavy handed thuggery?

Well I guess it’s a bit like Old Etonians protesting that someone from a comprehensive school has made it to Greys Inn.

If that floats your boat good for you.

Not swerved at all. You seem to think it’s justified and if people get hurt it’s also ok as they could have been hurt by a ball hitting their head. You are really an arsehole aren’t you?

Nah you’ve clearly (purposely, knowing you) misconstrued what has been said. It’s okay old man.

Stewards getting hurt when goals go in is the same as police getting assaulted by thugs — you said it - you own it

As in part of the same intention of being an OTT c**t in a crowd edges towards the same. I agree one is more violent than the other but still. One is a crime, the other isn’t I suppose. Answered my own question in the end. The point was - back to the start - there are idiots in every protest (crowd). Do you force everybody in life to be as roundabout as this? How obnoxious.

You seem way more focused on the fly in the ointment. The protest itself towards recent events, I applaud them for, excluding trespassing.

I listened to a fan tonight who talked about it and there is a little more to it than the Glazers just clearing the cash out somewhere between 1.6 and 2 billion. Old Trafford is very dated and they are not spending any money on it and the training ground is way behind the times.

Because... Its not really a protest is it? Its bellends causing trouble.

Ohhh suffragettes blah blah fucking blah. Let's wank over some gimps acting up because it's labelled a "protest".

I doubt many of them know who the glazers are anyway do they? Just there for the laugh.

They should have all been two footed at knee height as soon as they stepped on the pitch.

Absolutely spot on. I'm sure lots of them have never been inside old Trafford before.

Not a peaceful protest against the owners Police officers and horses injured, glass broken and cameras smashed

I can understand fans frustration against owners but that protest was too aggressive

You're not telling me they are all Man Utd fans

Hope they follow this up with some tests as it will be good evidence for mass gatherings

How many clubs fans feel a connection with the ownership of the club?
Times have changed from when local business men used to own clubs and milk the prestige.
Throughout the League pyramid you've got these overseas /out of town owners who primarily are in to make money directly from the club and its potential sell-on value.
For all the talk of 50+1 ownership there would need to be a major reset of football finances to achieve this. Firstly to buy out owners and then to address the debt levels of nearly every club and their wage costs in particular.

The ironic thing is that with all the smashed up windows, it’s only going to bring more glaziers in to the club...

We're well versed in this aren't we.
More subtle, damage or violence restricted to inter-fan bickering.
Ultimately didn't change a lot did we?
These had media focus, to get anything like what they wish for would require government intervention.
I don't expect that to be forthcoming in any major way.
