Still thought he had good game v Sheff Utd at start of last season and didn't get much of a look in thereafter. But still good to have got shot if it frees up budget on deadline day. In 40 years of supporting the club the most ridiculous signing ever. A long term contract for a player in his mid twenties deemed so good he'd played 2 professional games before joining us.

It was one of those football manager game signings. Rather a foreign name than John Smith from Barnet.
He looked half decent on that first game where he didn't really do anything. That was enough for some people, which is fair enough. Good luck to the bloke.

Wonder how the allocation split would work for a 'home' tie? Be harsh for Northampton if they only got the normal allocation for a tie to be played at their home ground, yet see it half empty and them cramped into the away end.....
