Kevin Malaga is gone

Kevin Malags has finally left by mutual consent - Steven Presley trying to build up our wage budget for someone?

has Malaga gone anywhere else or just had enough and gone home?

guess Sheff hasn't left as he might not want to move his family out of the area at this stage of his career and / or his wages are too high but obviously they're just guesses. Is Jennings the other one left or has he gone?

Still thought he had good game v Sheff Utd at start of last season and didn't get much of a look in thereafter. But still good to have got shot if it frees up budget on deadline day. Feel a bit hypocritical, not wanting SISU, but wanting their transfer dealing to be successful. Hey ho, I'll try and get my head around that! PUSB :blue:

It would only of been a percentage of his wages that was agreed to compensate him with, it's a mutual agreement.

Another one of Thorn's gems gone.

Be strong.

In 40 years of supporting the club the most ridiculous signing ever. A long term contract for a player in his mid twenties deemed so good he'd played 2 professional games before joining us.

20% is what they all got offered and they rejected till found new club so now they have found new club they take the 20% and move on

No, due to sisu owning us we are banned.

Good luck Kev. I too can't work out why it didn't work out here for him, but guess we'll never get to know!

Hopefully it means SP has someone lined up before tonight's deadline. Want something more permanent than a loan, ideally

So no bye then ?still it wouldn't be as good as last seasons effort up to the Crewe tie.
We can still say we broke the record attendance though.
But we could have drawn Wolves away.

It was one of those football manager game signings. Rather a foreign name than John Smith from Barnet.

He looked half decent on that first game where he didn't really do anything. That was enough for some people, which is fair enough. Good luck to the bloke.

Don't know if that's good or bad if we get drawn at Sixfields ?

Depends on whether we are drawn as the home or away team.

Wonder how the allocation split would work for a 'home' tie? Be harsh for Northampton if they only got the normal allocation for a tie to be played at their home ground, yet see it half empty and them cramped into the away end.....

PS, how did a Malaga thread turn into a JPT thread? :thinking about:

We are in the South Section this time though and from what I have seen if Bristol City go out Wednesday night it wouldn't be as difficult path as last season..
