Some bodies can't handle stress. Leicester fans noted this when they said "Good Luck, he is always injured, when he went to Spurs"
Same as Newcastle. Callum was always injury prone.
We might have the same, Haji perhaps.
It's physics.

Wright has had a couple of injuries, and only one kept him out for any long length of time. You are fucking clueless

So, at the end of the day, Haji was missing for a significant part of last season, and unfortunately injured recently playing for the USA.
My point is they are not shirkers. Merely that some human bodies can't take the stress that others can.
A simple observation that certain people have difficulty in coming to terms with. They prefer to insult.

It's a physical game, injuries happen all the time. It doesn't mean they are injury prone if they pick up a couple of injuries. Jodie Jones did his ACL a few times with us, and has played regularly since leaving

It certainly is a physical game, and injuries do happen all the time.
Guys like MVE and Grimes seem to play every game and get away with it. Yet they have positions where they should be getting injured regularly. Midfield, defence.

So whats your actual question? Your thread title and link doesn't appear to be a nuanced pondering of elite athletes physiology, more of a pisstake because you're bored.

Edit, whilst we are at it the king of sicknotes is Darren Anderton. (Or for us, Keith O'Neil)

OK. Maybe two questions.
Do some bodies break down before others?
And I guess the one you think I'm asking, then yes
Do some human beings look for the easy way through life?
But, you think I'm asking that,I didn't.
ACL is an obvious breakdown of the body.
My general question was: Are certain bodies just going to breakdown regularly under stress?

I would say that people are more genetically susceptible to injuries yes, much like some people have more of a predisposition to get certain chronic illnesses. However, contact sport is kind of a lottery. I imagine, for example, that he wouldn't have fucked his ACL had he been going for a walk rather than playing football

Just for a bit of background, I have changed the title of the thread because I was suggesting that certain human bodies couldn't sustain regular exercise without getting injured. Fair play, people were suggesting I was having a go at Maddison. I wasn't, so I have changed the title. Posts before this one might suggest otherwise.

Much better thread title. No he's not. As said earlier, I raise you Keith O'Neill. Spondylitis, double leg break, broken foot, dislocated ankle, muscle strains including groin, back, hip, and hamstring. By the time he retired at 27 he was just a puddle with eyes. (But still played more games for us than John Stead did)
