Was about to say the same. As people have said, not a great 2nd half, but we’ve done enough to get the draw. Great result

They missed 2 sitters. We would have been going absolutely mental.

Why can't our fans give credit where it's due? Constant negativity.

You're not going to go to free scoring Luton and not concede chances and we conceded hardly any considering we struggled to hold the ball up due to Bakayoko going off.

If it’s Stockdale it’s 2 good saves, if it’s Burge it’s 2 sitters

Not really, the first was a standard save. The second was lucky that the player kicked it at him rather than the whole of the goal.

I do give credit, my point was about the bad day at the office for them. It was, we would be fuming if we missed those chances.

The point you miss is that with a different keeper there wouldn't have been their goal or him having to make that first save

Good hard earned point against a top League 1 side thats full of confidence. No real threat from us second half but overall happy with a point from a tough fixture

Didn’t we all agree Burges issue isn’t shot stopping it’s everything else?

Not sure how the saves/sitters change that much. We know Burge can pull off a worldie, can he organise his back line and dominate his box is the question.

Absolutely great strong left hand what’s your problem with accepting the benefits and costs of having players who aren’t the best in the world in their position

In time I think the answer is yes and many times at this stage in his career he doesn’t do it as well as others. Look at Tom Heaton and Joe Hart. Heaton much better than hart why?

That's a good point considering 4 or 5 players played like passengers.

Idiotic comment. Hes not even good hes very average

His ability to make some good saves isnt enough. I am a grest finisher. But im not good enough to play for cov

You need an all round game

The second one was an absolute sitter if you can’t see that you don’t have a clue about football. Anywhere but straight at Burge and it’s in, he’s on the floor after diving for the shot from the kick.

He saved them, that’s the main thing. Today doesn’t define him as a keeper; a season does. And he’s not good enough IMO if we want to challenge teams. Last season he came on massively but he found his level. But I reckon had it been Collins in Maccormacks position for the free kick effort we would now be talking after a 2-1 defeat. Would have loved it to have been hylton who missed it though

Good point.

Worked hard without creating very much but sometimes that has to be done. Think we deserved the point for an organised and decent defensive display. Thought Willis and Kelly did very well. Burge was a bit dodgy first half but improved second and a couple of decent stops. Was a tough game to play as a ccfc attacker, there was very little service. But all the lads put a decent shift in

Luton did not have one of their best days. It never quite clicked for them after the first 15 minutes but partly because ccfc didn't allow it. I expect luton to win the division though

Wasn't expecting us to get anything from the game if I am honest so will take a point all day long

Proud of us today. Stood up to them
With all that's going on, it was important we 'showed up'. We did. Well done to SBA! Even Man U/Scouse fans giving us credit in pub (even though they've rarely been to a game!)

12 games left. Playoffs a pipe dream but 36 pts left to playnfor. We need 23 to hit 70pts ehich may not be enough this yesr

Did I say otherwise?

They have blown teams away this season. Many were expecting them to blow us away. They didn't and in reality they didn't look special. That was down to a solid gameplan.

Did we deserve to win? No. Did we by in large neutralise top of the league, yes.

The one kicked at him while he was on the floor with the whole goal to shoot at?

Sorry, it was an unforgivable miss.

I thought second half especially last 15 mins we didn’t keep hold of the ball enough, and hoofed it up field when we could of kept possession and stopped them attacking us

It was a penalty Nick! If we had got that it might have been different but good point all around. Onward and upwards 10 point deduction off Blackpool and we climb a place.

Don’t give a shit about their thug of a non footballer who struck it. Burge reacted quickly and pulled off a good stop and held it. Similar to the one he came off the line for. You won’t ever be happy so the club have to move on and get a new keeper ffs
