Yes if you were promoting from within Rioch should be the next first team manager not Carsley who a lot on here were screaming for at one point. Lets hope Carsley is learning under Rioch because the worry is a succesful academy playing good football will get noticed by a prem side looking to improve their own academy and Rioch would be a massive loss.

Losing Gregor Rioch would be a huge loss, on a par, if not greater than the loss of Andy O'Boyle to Liverpool. If we are to truly to move away from where we currently lie,it has to be the inevitable loss of high-earners such as Cranie, Clingon and Eastwood; but keeping the exceptional clutch of youngsters together to try and do something similar to that Southampton have managed.

Cameron, Clarke, Christie, Bigirimana, Thomas, Clarke-Harris will enable us to do that, I believe

forward passing, using all the pitch, speed of movement, pressure on the opponents, accuracy, one touch, invention, first time shot, scoring .......... now why would we want that in the first team :thinking about:

Academy play in a different way to the first team..... perhaps the first team should go take a look
