Always hated the little rat. Horrible player.

But ....

... he now has the distinct honour of being in a unique club, as the only player in history to have lost to Coventry in all four divisions!!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He's had a decent career considering he's a league one clogger, absolute donkey of a footballer.

Yep. Anyone who’s got him as their starting CB in the prem deserves to lose, he’s no where near the level.

The whole wind up merchant act he plays as well is comedic, if you’re going to try play the villain at least have the skills to back it up. League 2 cannon fodder.

I believe he's also the first and only player to be sent off in each off the top 4 tiers of English football.

We coined a new nickname for him yesterday. League one Luke. Following DiCanio’s league one Wes outburst.
Hes like a decent enough lad bu all accounts and hes definitely made the most of what hes got ability wise.

Been a good servant for them and definitely has been gracious when speaking about us. A player thats done very well with the talent he has.
He like one of the those players a bit like Morris...you hate him when he's against you.

But off the field he seems like a really good lad.

Also respect to him for playing in all 4 divisions on the way up with limited talent.

I quite like o’nien. Proper pantomime villain who opposition fans love to boo etc. made the most of his talent and whilst we can argue whether or not he should be a PL starter he always gives 100% (more than a lot of ‘better’ footballers). With Sunderland in a lot of trouble at the bottom he (unlike xhaka for example) will role his sleeves up and do his best.

I like the bloke tbf. Blood and thunder. But should be nowhere near a prem team. Didn’t even realise he was playing yesterday.

Was he in League 2? Not aware

Apparently he is a diamond of the pitch.

Absolute prick on it, Kudos for making it tho. Genuinely old school.

As has been said, he's supposed to be a fantastic guy off the pitch, and can't knock his wholehearted approach on the pitch. Can understand why he's loved by Sunderland fans and hated by everyone else. Unfortunately for him, he's only a Championship level player, and it is costing his team (although he was one of their better players yesterday).

Who was he playing for in each league for the losses?
League 2 - 3-2 win at the CBS vs Wycombe and he got booked (2017/18)
And 1-0 win at their ground (2017/18)

League 1 - 5-4 win at the Stadium of Light (2018/19)
1-0 win at CBS (2019/20)

Championship - 2-1 win at CBS (2022/23)
3-0 at the Stadium of light and he got booked (2023/24)
3-0 at the CBS (2024/25)

Premier League - 3-1 win at CBS (this season)

I’ve always liked him to be honest - not sure why. I watched the Sunderland docu so possibly cos of that - decent lad and hard worker on pitch but yeah a bit of a shithouse.

I wouldn’t have minded if we’d signed him when in championship or league one. Not prem level I don’t think is he? I mean he got tore a new one really on Saturday and Haji ripped him to pieces when he scored his hattrick season before last.

Presuming you are referring to Carlton Morris

I actually gained a bit of a begrudging respect for him after the play off final - He shook every one of our players hands and spent a good min or so consoling Dabo

Pity the fucker always scored against us though

I was a bit like that with a couple of the United players after the semi-final who were respectful, in contrast to Antony wo was jumping around like a two year old in front of us and showing zero class.

Na-fuck them all!

Tbf he should be a horrible lad on the pitch.
Hes there to play football not find lover.
There is a limit to be 'horrible' though.

In the past I've seen him put in some absolutely shocking tackles that were potential career enders. Now, maybe part of that is because he's not at the same level as others and he's just very late, but he's done it at lower league levels too. Some you think must be deliberate attempts to foul. That's just not on and why I've not got a particularly high opinion of him on a football pitch.
