There are questions over some of the evidence used to convict her, it's nothing to do with a pretty face. Anybody who believes in the justice system would support a retrial.Almost like she’s a murderer and people are taken in by a pretty face and a conspiracy theory online. Who would think?
I think we need to stage an intervention. That's Lucy Letby and Mattie Heaven shmmeee has said are hot in the last couple of weeks.Almost like she’s a murderer and people are taken in by a pretty face and a conspiracy theory online. Who would think?
He lives in Bedworth, they probably are to him now.I think we need to stage an intervention. That's Lucy Letby and Mattie Heaven shmmeee has said are hot in the last couple of weeks.
Throw in rose west in her prime and get the party startedI think we need to stage an intervention. That's Lucy Letby and Mattie Heaven shmmeee has said are hot in the last couple of weeks.
This is beneath you.Almost like she’s a murderer and people are taken in by a pretty face and a conspiracy theory online. Who would think?
Edited for youYou wish this is beneath you.

It’s certainly been interesting to see how much energy has been spent in this trial trying (and largely failing) to prove why she didn’t do it, versus trying to establish why she did.I'd need to see something pretty compelling in her defence to overturn my opinion.
They have it’s been rejected hadn’t itSurely they should first of all establish if her conviction was sound?
If not then shouldn't she be released pending a re-trial?
Or am I missing something here?
After all this isnt an appeal process, its her defence claiming that key evidence was withheld and that statements/ evidence from key medical specialists wasn't heard.
(Which makes her legal team look piss poor)
Wouldn't a panel of judges re examine the case and just order a retrial?
There's been new evidence since then, including the fact that key prosecution witnesses were found to be lieing under oath. They have it’s been rejected hadn’t it

And 3 managers from the hospital have been arrested (apparently) and charged with gross negligence manslaughter.
They conspired to blame her for their negligence by all accounts?
(So im told, it could all be BS as I havn't looked too deeply into it myself)
Im definitely going to watch the documentary.
Yeah, I’m really very far from a conspiracy theorist…from the bits I’ve read/seen there’s a lot to question about her conviction.Watched it now
Am on the strong belief that there’s been a miscarriage of justice and it’s only a matter of time until she’s released

Ooooo I don’t know about innocent but absolutely huge questions about beyond reasonable doubt and the quality of the legal system that allowed her defence to beI mean there’s been a huge media campaign to try and prove her innocent so I’m not surprised that people who have consumed that campaign find her innocent.

come on do you really believe what they said?
Which one was that?Yes I believe the people who watched all the evidences presented by both sides have a better view than people who have watched a biased documentary designed to make money.

Sorry but does this mean there can never be miscarriages of justice?Yes I believe the people who watched all the evidences presented by both sides have a better view than people who have watched a biased documentary designed to make money.
It is always worth bearing in mind that the original jury saw nine months of evidence/testimony and the ITV documentary clearly can't cover all of them. I found a Youtube channel run by someone who was present at the entire trial, he came away with no doubt whatsoever that Letby was guilty.Literally every “truth about letby” piece of media out there. Sorry mate I just see it as another “I’ve watch a YouTube vid and know I know enough to say people who worked on this were wrong”. I’ve seen nothing from the bits I’ve seen to suggest she didn’t do it or that it’s even a question. Mostly it’s parroting the arguments made by her lawyers and rejected that leave out key elements of the case or focus on minor issues in the grand scheme. T
Why has there been a huge media campaign? Is it the press’ notorious penchant for convicted baby killers shining through again?I mean there’s been a huge media campaign to try and prove her innocent so I’m not surprised that people who have consumed that campaign find her innocent.
I stand by itYou’ve literally just described it as a huge miscarriage of justice
There’s many. I’m more closely aware as one of the experts on the programme is a personal friendSorry but does this mean there can never be miscarriages of justice?
Nah decision made and when have we ever had miscarriages of justice before lolCan be both, you can think that there's unanswered questions but also believe that the correct decision was made based on the evidence presented at the time.
None of us sat through every day of the trial so its near impossible to say but there's enough people who have far more knowledge in this area, and have studied the case closely, who have doubts so surely you'd want to look again to ensure everything was correct.
