No chance for us, 1200 bracket. Almost 4 thousand in that, considering its a 2700 allocation at best for games (aside from ballot) then its TV

Ah well is what it is aint it

Does that mean only 16,000 season tickets sold so far?
No, anyone who bought for first time last year will be on 550-700 ish if they renewed.
These brackets start at 900 so pretty much no one from the lower bracket will have above 900.
My lad got his first season ticket last year and renewed this year, with the away games he got last year he's now on 610 which isn't included in the above charts.

Pritty much bang on where I thought I would be being on 1440 points. Should get to most of what I want to.
Get the membership and Arsenal away and you’re laughing.

The 697 top cappers really aren’t buying tickets to tout, they clearly do it for the love of the game.
I'd need to buy 6 fifty points memberships to get into the 1400 plus group who will be able to go to most of the games they want, seems pointless buying to me as it's not going to improve my position, 11,000 fans in the bottom Three groups having a bun fight for a ticket in the ballot, ironically I think it will be the top groups who buy most to maintain the gaps.

This is evidently not the case.

It's whether you think buying 50 points every season for 4 season for example is worthwhile (for an extra 200 points)
£30 for 50 points is probably your best bang for buck unless we have 2 midweek EFL Cup away games.

To be honest, I’m tempted to get it even though I’m in the top bracket.

Not even will sell out every game, for example I might not be able to make it to Forest away.

If you bought the 4 season tickets including this year and collected 70 ppts on average (from cup and away games) each of the last 3 seasons you would have...

3x230 + 3x70 + 190 = 1090. That's where I am so it is definitely worth me going to the Espanyol game so I step up into the group above but pointless buying an away membership because it is not likely to make any meaningful diffeence.

They’ve never published this info before have they? Nothing to do with selling away memberships at all ……

Closed shop lads. Rich get richer.

It’s never taken much of a dip in form to suddenly make away tickets available . Let’s see where we are in November.

It’s great to see the points being open now. People know where they stand. Note tho that it’s not going to be the c. 3000 less 10% in a ballot. You have to think that up to another say 100 tickets or so could go to players families / club staff off that net 2700 ish number

transparency is good
It is I agree. But I do think this is timed to sell the away memberships because it confirms to a big bunch of us that we have no chance through our loyalty points. But yes, it’s better to know that and make an informed decision than not have the info. Bet the memberships go on sale tomorrow though :)

You get points for the Espanyol game? Must have missed that, how many?

I wasn't going to bother but away membership and Espanyol friendly will put me on 1500 points, should guarantee a ticket for Arsenal.

I am slightly confused though, as seems to include 4 seasons on their link?

Assuming it's three then :

230 home points plus say an average of 280 for away games (18 weekend and 5 midweek) is 510. Throw in say 50 points for Cup games, thats 560.

560 times three doesn't clear 1900....

That's before you take into account this season at 190 points for a ST. Am I missing something?

Had 11 mid week away games last season inc cups, thats 220 + 120 points for weekend away games. The FA Cup semi final run would have generated possibly an additional 100 points through the cup games themselves and rearranged league games etc. Had the play offs last season which is another 30 points if you went to both. I'm on 1440 and do roughly half away games, I'm not surprised some are pushing nearly 2000.

I probably do 2/3 away games, plus ST for last 7+ seasons, but on 1520 points. I suppose an average of 10 extra games times 3 at at an average of 15 points, would create around 450 points.

Maybe I need a Lauti sponsorship to see me over the costs of a 300mile round trip for home games 😜

If anyone wants one for Arsenal its £200 ea and I'll tell the wife and daughter they just missed out in a lower bracket :D
I'm thinking of knocking on the head next year so am thinking of how I can sell on to my successor.🤔Any ideas?

Just get a ST anyway and then if you change your mind you're not without. Can always put your ticket on the exchange 👍

Snap. Couldn’t give a tinkers fig about preseason. But this is what it’s become.

The transparency on the points brackets is good but it’s really going to encourage some purchasing for points if you can afford to do that

Probably why they released them. You know Doug likes a quid.

In fairness, they have done the miles. Those buying memberships, fair enough. I’m assuming anyone on 1400 plus has been following city away for 15-20 games over the seasons. It’s not been gifted to them.

Next season we only have a couple of away games mid-week away. It’s not going to be too hefty on the annual leave Ipswich and Chelsea?

I can’t see that the Northampton away game tomorrow gives you any points but the home friendly games do - is this correct??

Fuck Lauti for his Falklands comments. Loose lips for someone who supports an English team.

Yes he's dropped a bollock there. Not so sure people will be chipping in for his plane ticket next time.

I've just looked at my points removal, I had 370 points deducted for 22/23 season on the 10th July and I've only just noticed as I've been on holiday that on the 14th July I had another 50 points removed for 21/10/22, havnt a clue what this is for, anyone else had this?
