I've just looked at my points removal, I had 370 points deducted for 22/23 season on the 10th July and I've only just noticed as I've been on holiday that on the 14th July I had another 50 points removed for 21/10/22, havnt a clue what this is for, anyone else had this?
Cup games?

Did you buy multiple memberships?

Someone put on another forum that he had the same done to him so phoned the ticket office. They said to him that they were doing a manual check of everybody's accounts and removing points that should have been removed previously but were missed off.

For the 2020/21 season if you bought the membership it was 250 points, membership and a season ticket you got an extra 50 points. It could be that.

Similar happened to me. Originally deducted 560 then another 90. I’ve checked my
revised points total with my account history and it’s right. I think this has been a pretty manual process at the club, particularly at the start, and they’ve done a big exercise to clear out all the errors

I've just been in the ticket office and asked the question, I was given 50 points manually on 22/10/22 but the system does not detect this so I've now had them manually removed. That puts me on 1350 but really wanted the 1400 for Arsenal 😪

I'm in the same points bracket, hoping to get at least one ticket for the Emirates 🤞

Just buy the home membership as well as the away to get the extra 50 points

Don't think that works. Sure others have said you can only get 50 points regardless of how many memberships you hold.

There's absolutely no reason from a ST holder to have a home membership other than the points it buys. I don't blame people for doing it but club shouldn't allow that.

There is. My son isn’t a ST but comes to games where he can so being a member gives me advantage in the membership match ticket window. I’m way off the away points threshold so the 50 points mean very little.

…shouldn’t he have the membership then?

Yeah son should be the member, not the season ticket holder. That way the son will begin to build points too.

Buying home and away memberships shouldn’t come with points, there’s no argument for it whatsoever.

If someone is in the higher points brackets, why should that be eroded because someone else who doesn’t go as often spends £30 or £50 or whatever it was. Over 3 years that could significantly impact their relative position, not least because they will be having more points dropping off in future years.

Only fair way would be if ST holders got no points for home memberships and away memberships gave no points at all.
