Great character - good acting - sweeney real
And me, need to catch up on the last two to remind.
Is it tomorrow is on?
yep 9.00 tomorrow !
Disappointed in the last series, seemed a bit weird, and not as good as the others. But, otherwise an absolutely brilliant series. Currently rewatched Series 1.
Really looking forward to it.
For some reason I’ve never seen an episode
And don't forget to stay tuned in after for Mrs. Brown's boys !!
I've rewatched Season 4 today. Can't understand why I didn't like it last time. I apologise to Luther. I must have tired and grumpy.
Never liked it. Elba was great in The Wire since then nothing much any good.
Oh yes nice - even had the wife hiding her eyes - hermione looks evil
Back on form. Luther can be stunning TV at times.
It's far fetched nonsense, but I love it!!
I think they've nailed it this time
Whose the woman who appeared at the end and is the guy from Minder who seems to be doing an impression of Fred Dinenage a regular?
Yeah, it is very cliched isn't it. Textbook stereotype.
Ruth Wilson, who plays Alice Morgan and it was the first ever case Luther solved. Since then they have had an on and off steamy relationship of wordplay.
And she is a bit mental !
Well that episode was a bit of a mess and didn't really get going at all until the last 15 mins.
Think they may have pushed the boundaries of credibility a bit too far this time.
Hope tomorrow's episode is better.
Only started watching the first series
First two seasons are excellent, Daz.
Well I did say she was a head case !
I assume the Reggie Kray guy has some hold over the detective from the past?
Really enjoyed the first series
I’m on a weeks holiday from tomorrow so will watch the rest
Yeah, kind of. They have history.
John Luther is from the Dirty Harry school of police detection. Lots of skeletons in the cupboard.
Just watched episode three and thought that was bang back on form, after a sloppy second outing. Looking forwards now to the conclusion.
True detective back end of next week - my skybox will be busy - cant handle watching it with ads !
Very good ........ but.......
The Alice killing of DCI Halliday will surely have been witnessed by residents in the street. It was in broad daylight. Even if they didn't see the shot, they would have looked out of their windows and see Alice holding the gun and pointing it at the officer, or at Luther afterwards.
Secondly, re the supposed Luther filmed killing at the industrial unit, George Cornelius took the photo. Why would the police give any credence to any evidence given by this known felon? And when the forensics are examined the ballistics will show the shot fired from the opposite direction to where Luther was standing.
It can all be cleared up in a jiffy.
Enjoyed the series but the last few minutes a bit of a let down.

Yeah. All geared up for the big pay off.
Hopefully the whole Alice/Cornelius story line has been put to bed now, it was wearing a bit thin.
I'd imagine they'll be another series, hopefully it just concentrates on catching the killer.
I agree Otis.

I enjoyed it but i think there were too many sub plots on the go and would have liked to see more of the main plot developed.
On a different note i was really pleased to see the trailer for Baptiste in the end titles, i thought he was worthy if his own show when watching The Missing.
Absolutely. I just felt it petered out and writers not sure how to finish it.

mmm i liked Benny - was disappointed he got bumped off as he was useful - in theory Luther could go to jail for dereliction of duty for the shooting of Halliday
What had Hermione done to her face - she looked like a barbie doll !
Bring on true detective
she's definitely had work, she's at that point where id she has any more she'll look disfigured, just grow old gracefully for fucks sake!
Is there a new true detective on the way?
