A rocket up the arse for Thomas and Kitching this signing has been as they have barely put a foot wrong since - So much so to the point I forgot that we had signed Woolfenden

Thought he may have got 10/15mins at the end on Saturday mind you?

Why would you bring him on for 10/15 mins last Saturday, what would he have had to do? The subs that came on were far more likely to be involved as we were bossing the game.

Agreed. Andrews in particular would have benefitted from coming into a game at 3-0 with no pressure. He had some decent touches. Likewise, you want to sub off Torp, Eccles, BTA, Sakamoto to keep them fresh. CBs by contrast, is a lower intensity role and both Kitch and Thomas are both durable with near-perfect availability over 2 seasons.

Yellow cards and suspensions will happen so Wolfenden will get his chance.

I get that it's less of a tiring position but subs can be used to manage yellow card accumulation as well, which could bite us hard at some point. I think making his debut at 3-0 up in front of the home fans would have been useful.
