To be honest I don't see it as a motivation issue (disclaimer: I'm a ST holder who doesn't go to away games) I see it as a squad size issue. The players are tired and his options are limited. And to be fair, you can't blame Thorn for all that goes wrong then credit the players with all that goes right.

Do I think he has more to learn? Of course it's his first full season.

Do I think there is anyone significantly better who we could afford? Not really.

Do I think there's value in giving a manager time to develop a club? Most definitely.

How can professional athletes be tired after competing for just 90 minutes every 7 days?

So you have never played a serious game for 90 mins before then?

Every week I used to on a Saturday and a Sunday. I wasn't a pro Athlete though who was paid to keep fit.
