Great idea: lawful protest that would really piss their supporters off and potentially disrupt their games!

Mass protests at wasps games has got to be the way to go. Block the car parks, block the turnstiles, block the ticket office etc. Make it such a pain in the arse to attend Wasps games and any event at the Ricoh that no one will want to go.

We’ve got to peacefully and constructively start targeting local sponsors, targeting schools to stop promoting them and distributing tickets etc etc.

If the Trust aren’t going to do this then we need another supporters group. No I’m not volunteering as I have neither the time or the energy to organise stuff.

To be clear that when I say starve them out I do mean full stop not just until the club is back at the Ricoh.

When they took on the Ricoh they took on a responsibility to ensure that CCFC remain there. If they don’t want that responsibility they’ve got to go.

What chance do we have when they seduce our children with free flags?

Another thought I had was targeting the other tenants at the Ricoh. For instance picket the Casino every Saturday night asking people not to go in. Need to piss their tenants of as well.

Have you seen some of the people that go in there and when they lose a few quid they wont be happy with someone protesting outside.
Better get your gloves on for that one.

I would imagine they are already pissed off. Lot of custom lost. Maybe try and keep them onside and ask them to pressure Wasps.

Shouldn't be too hard from the trust to get statements from the various companies about the impact on their businesses.

Hang on, hang on - I've got it. To hell with protests, let's club together and open up our own casino in direct competition to their's.
We can have Bob Brolly's calvary on every Friday night, a TV loop of Baka's goals and Julian Gray meeting & greeting.

First wasps game. Queue up with tons of merchandise in the club shop....after 5 mins of scanning the items...pretend you've lost your wallet and leave.

Not illegal but it will annoy them and may lose them revenue if we get a dozen people doing it.

I didn't attend as I was told on the night before that a demonstration could hamper talks. They clearly just wanted the game to go ahead without trouble. I wont allow that to happen again.

My questions are who didn't want protests to happen, and what did they get from that?

The answer is not necessarily the obvious one!

Anyway, that kind of talk is exactly why a protest had to happen. If someone wants to influence it, you have to not let them.

The request was from inside the club (ccfc not Wasps) and was suggested that if we disrupted the Wasps game it could derail ongoing talks at a delicate stage. I didn't want to be responsible for that happening so backed off. Of course if I knew then what I know now in that it made no difference, I'd have made a different decision.

Damn. I’m a lover not a fighter. Do you think they’d except a long sloppy kiss instead of a dust up?

I think we should take turns taking chains and locks up and locking the doors. scissors in the club shop. Definitely disruption of their games. Oil and nails in the car parks. Make every single little thing difficult for them.

Indeed. The answer isn't so simple.

Why would the club want to stop a protest? A lack of protest ends up validating a move away, after all...

Can you imagine the Leeds trust applauding a rugby club kicking them out. This needs to radicalise us.

Said this from day one.

When we moved last time we had 50 people on the hill. Leeds would have had 5000 on there disrupting the game.

Our protesting has been a disaster from day one.

Can you imagine them putting out statements saying their game was a great occasion?

They are still clinging on for hoffman to give them job titles.

The later. The blaming each other will continue, whilst the clubs dies a slow death each year we are away. absolutely no signs of building a stadium in Coventry that Sisu would own

You don't need to do all that, just get someone who has a drone to hover over the Ricoh during a game , it worked at Gatwick.

Totally agree mate.
But your post got the 33 likes and in reality any protest would have about 15 there.
Let's hope I'm proved wrong, time for fucking city fans to put up
Which I know the various factions of this board have to be fair.

The thing is Wasps got much smaller crowds in Wycombe than they do at the Ricoh so it’s the people of Coventry and surrounding areas going to watch them. STOP going and support your own Football team. If you don’t like football we have our own Rugby team too!
