Bristol City follower here, nice to see 3,400 Coventry fans will be heading to Ashton Gate.

Can't see us getting any thing from the game.

If you have decided to come by train,PLEASE have your tickets issued to Parson Street as its the same price as Bristol Temple meads

Thi will help us get a brand new train station nearer to Ashton Gate

There are no ticket gates/barriers at Parson Street

using Parson Street which will help us get a brand new train station nearer to Ashton Gate

Using the train will take you two thirds of the way to the ground and then just a fifteen minute walk to the ground

Cov fan who was brought up in Bristol. Would recommend the pump house but Nova Scotia also nice. Always weather dependent to a degree.
Always gone in the Cottage Inn.
Slightly less busy than the other two and often live music. As jto says, if weather good, can’t go wrong with any of those.

Additional pub recs:

if it;s nice weather, definitely don't miss out the Harbourside in the city centre. loads of pubs right on the harbour incl a spoons as well. If you start there and then head towards the ground there's some more Harbourside pubs on the way including the Cottage Inn (great view) and the Nova Scotia.

Bristol Beer Factory Tap room on North St (a few stones throws from the ground) is a decent place too (but I've never been there on a match day).

Finally, parking.

Street parking available in Bedminster generally, but it can be tight and narrow in places.

In the city centre itself there's a number of pay & display car parks that are reasonable e.g Wapping Wharf

Depends how far you’re willing to walk and what time you get there, if you’re willing to pay etc. generally I’d recommend parking in the hotwells area and walking from there.
cheers for your help, looks to me a lot of roadworks around hotwell at the moment, but might be gone by saturday? i was thinking to park south of the ground near the cemetry or the sainsburys and walk up, do you think that would be ok? would proabably look to arrive at about 1:30

I did a my parking space in Sainsbury’s for the cup game midweek last season think it was £6 for 4 hours then just a 10 min walk away.

I’ve been to Ashton Gate plenty of times over the years, never had an issue, but working this weekend so can’t make it.

For parking I do recommend Bedminster Cricket Club, there is a bar there as well. Parked there each time over the years and never had any issues.

It’s between a 10-15 mins walk from Ashton Gate.
