Jokes aside, I think we'll end up giving him another year with a coaching role if a) he stays fit between now and the end of the season, b) we stay in this division and c) He's ok with not playing every week.

I would absolutely love to have him make an appearance in the PL though so we can say he's played in all 4 divisions for us.

Yeah, and I know it's romantic, nostalgic nonsense but with the nature of the modern game, these stories are increasingly rare.

Really enjoyed McNally making those runs into their half with the ball too.

I thought he was our best defender yesterday, had a really good game.

It’s interesting whenever one of our centre backs has done something like that how the opposition players just stand off and watch. Gains us 10-20 yards risk free

Mcfadz was really dissapointing on Wednesday free headers with time he was heading back showed no composure at all (rightly Panzo come on and showed that composure on the ball. And I'm not fir one minute suggesting Panzo is better., MR singled him out too for criticism.

For me its horses for courses.

Yeah, both him and Doyle feign to pass one way then take the ball on and suddenly we advanced x amount of yards and they've got options in the opposition half.

I thought the injuries had caught up with him and he'd have to drop down a level, at least. No idea where that performance came from, it was like he'd never been away

At Blackburn the other night, we weren’t at it, he came on and helped drag us back into the play off promotion race.
He’s a good footballer.
