No I’m NOT calling for his replacement already but…questions need to be asked.

The quite ridiculous sticking to a rigid tactical formation (without changing to another) that clearly wasn’t doing anything against a Hull side clearly there for the taking.

Lack of a pressing system that FL said that he himself would like to adopt. High press and attacking football I think he said-which we have only seen fleetingly.

Leaving a striker on the bench and bringing on a left back as a winger when we clearly need a goal. In fact bringing on a clearly unfit striker in a central role we all know he clearly can’t do and bringing off the one player who looked like he could create something was baffling.

Not advocating anything rash but FL has the whole of the summer to address the tactical side and thinking of alternatives if one system doesn’t work.

Same old ponderous slow build up bollocks-is it the players or the system?

Playing Hull was a perfect opportunity to be a bit more risky and try something different.

I’ve not mentioned recruitment deliberately as that out of FL’s hands. But we clearly need some pace and creativity in this team.

Positives-we didn’t look like conceding and the goalie was bloody brilliant.

Just trying to stimulate some discussion NOT calling for Franks replacement or wetting the bed!

What was that mate?
Not sure what your point is. Out of those BTA has come good. But it was a strange signing at the time as it gave us a really lop sided squad. You’ve tried to be a bit clever but you’ve ignored the context of the original discussion. All of the others are average players if we’re being totally honest.

JDS has been very, very good this season as well. Simms was excellent last night and the last few games he has come on. Rapha is a project player. If you say otherwise then you are not being honest.

See last night's match thread for my spectacular piece of analysis on why we won't concede late goals - just before we conceded a late goal.

Got to love football haha

Let's get it right. Who hasn't Frank got the best out of??.
The guys off very soon as we won't be able to keep hold of him if we dont get promoted.

Names on back of postage stamp. If you can write Bassette on there.

Simms had a decent game last night which is qualified by saying it was one of his best. JDS. Ok when we are consistently on the front foot. Binks, Bassette, Rapha, Lati and Collins? All good buys??

I love him.

He's got a nice mix of being an intelligent guy, experienced at top level football, personable but also so fucking passionate. There's no doubt he's desperate to do well here. He loves the club.

Rapha is like i said a project signing. Lati has been okay for what was less than a million, Collins was quite good in the great run when he took over from Wilson and switched to a back 4. Binks was ok and we made a profit on him.

Simms was good his first season and is now starting to play well. JDS has been for almost a year a very good full back and he wAs our best player during the awful when he first signed.

Brad Collins 😅
Collins just had no confidence and was not good enough to be a Champ keeper, he is lower league one higher league two level as a standard with a ceiling of top end league one when on song. It's the one thing I have not agreed with Lampard on was when he continued to play Collins week on week.

Fair enough take. I disagree about Collins though.
