Just my opinion, having had abuse and inaccurate claims aimed at me the past, let it go ...... to rise to it only gives the posters oxygen. I would guess there has been more traffic on the KCIC/NOPM and Aprisonofmeasuredtime websites over the last few days than there has been in a while. Not all the posts have been abusive, many raise valid questions that remain unanswered

I think all have had their say ...... move on. I do not see why Les Reid is so exercised by it ...... just my opinion as i say

Maybe he was rather more touchy as there were things he wanted to do in the article but couldn't. Overall I was very disappointed in the tone and the lack of clarity around what was asked (especially when he could have cleared this up afterwards but decided to get in a tit for tat row!). It does make me laugh how a serious journo has reacted.

He is accusing Michael personally of abuse and bullying-- that is simply defamation.

Les Reid brought a lot of the criticism he has received down on his own head. Far too many of his articles seem to be about Les Reid and how clever he has been to secure an "exclusive" rather than just presenting the facts.

It is hardly surprising, therefore, that so many should turn on him for presenting an obsequious profile of Joy Seppala rather than the searching inquisition that most would assume and demand from an "exclusive" interview.

Look at his recent tweets; he's seemingly fixated. I don't know whether my primary reaction is one of confusion, or embarrassment?!?

He's a journalist of some repute, I understand; but his re-tweeting of any messages in his support, or those who castigate his detractors seems a bit out of kilter with the 'crime' committed

I'm sure the JR appeal has something to do with it but I imagine there are ways round it. They could easily give an interview and avoid all those embarrassing difficult questions as JS apparently did. At one time ACL were constantly releasing statements, although the original JR was hanging over their heads. For example, they were going to sue NTFC, weren't they? What happened to that?

I tend to agree. As I said it never stopped them releasing almost daily statements throughout the summer.
