Definitely! He has and will bang in goals in this league.

If he's playing against us next season he'll score!

Does that mean that we didn't even have a 1/4 decent striker last season?

Its a yes for me, an interview where he explains the opportunity to go back to Wolves was too good, it didnt work out but is happy to be back here where he scored lots of goals and played well, then all will be well with the world, especially if he starts scoring again...

The mans a bellend but there aren't to many strikers about at this level who will score as many as he potentially can, not for free anyway. If he's willing to talk we would be daft not to at least consider him.

No question, yes. Is he one of the most shady footballers going? Yes. Would he score 20 plus goals at this level of football? Yes.

No....over-rated....only appears to have a good season every 10 years so the next one is due when he turns 39......and clearly he is a bit of a c**t & a unsettling influence in the dressing room.

We did good business off him once....plenty of goals & £750K from a free transfer......lets not spoil it by having him back....

Just under a goal every 2 games throughout his career. This is included at a higher level than we are at now where he didn't do as good. This means an average of 20 goals a season or so.

Last few years at our level and league games.

Chesterfield 14 games 9 goals

Scunny 14 games 11 goals

Us 33 games 23 goals.

61 games 43 goals. 30 goals a season where we are now.

So he isn't so good in the championship. But we are not in the championship. So what is wrong with taking him for 12 months?

People keep going on about the strikers we have! Likelihood is they all, or most, won't be here next year. So why compare? Surely we should wait to see who comes in and compare him to them?

I’d take him back, could do a job in this league without a doubt. I think he also played a big part in both Baker and Moussa getting in goal scoring positions as he links the play pretty well and Mowbray has stated he likes Tudgay for hoe he links the play so I think he would work as the central striker in a TM team. 20 go0al a season strikers are essential if you want to progress, even if we only had him for a season it’d be worth it. Don’t think he is in a position to demand silly wages after the Wolves debacle anyway, he went to a team that already had strikers scoring for fun so was always going to be hard pressed to get into that team.

Yes, one of the better players since 2001.

If he wants to play under SISU again is debatable, but I'd welcome him.

For me he is a good option.

Cone back Leon!

Reckon he will be a former CCFC player who claims to have "unfinished business"? If so, and he could stop being an arrogant arse, then I'd have him back.

Closest thing other than Wilson we've had come close to being a 20 goal a season striker in a long while

Torn on this one. On the one hand he did well for us but I wasn't happy with the way he left.

He's always going to leave that way, wherever he goes.

I'd deal with that and accept he'd only be around for a season, but at least we'd have a decent striker for that season!
