Really happy with today’s game.

Leicester will be Top 3, and we went toe to toe with them.

Special mention to Eccles who was exactly what we needed when he came on, energy and tough tackling, and that turn!

With EMC and Hayden out, the bench did look thin though, attacking wise. We really needed that winger in the transfer window.
I dont think it's been mentioned. Hayden missing was a big set back as much as EMC. On another day there's no doubt Hayden would have given that option in front of Milan giving much needed cover on the right hand side and stifling out the likes of Monga and Mavadidi. And given the extra energy to get up and down the pitch on RHS.

Or he could have even played at left back.

Glad Brau didn't get on (I do rate his potential) but not the game for him. This was a very disciplined display and very impressive.

I enjoyed that game. Credit to both teams, especially us away from home, for playing to win the game. Such a contrast to that embarrassment from Norwich last Saturday. I don’t think I saw any time wasting or feigning injury or gamesmanship. If there was, I must have missed it from being so caught up in the game. i thought it was exciting, end to end stuff.

I think Brau has to start getting some more minutes In to get him used to the team, it’s no good waiting til DaSilva gets injured and throwing him in.
Maybe his physicality will put other teams off from targeting that side as they seem to with DaSilva in there? It must encourage other teams when they see he’s in the team.

Didn't see anything personally, the whole day just seemed very low key and subdued to me, including the game.

Yep, was about to say this.

I've always thought of Leicester as a bit more a family club and the whole day felt like it. It was very subdued and very quiet.

Thought the atmosphere was pretty meh from both fans at times. It certainly wasn't intimidating.

Exciting & end to end? Maybe for about 5 minutes

Quick question.... what's our longest unbeaten run? Just curious.
I'm sure 10 games rings a bell, but I'm probably miles off!

Are people still hung up on Jay Dasilva having a bad game, even though he didn’t really?
Yeah, tough assignment for him yesterday and possibly the most difficult he'll face this season, but he did at least okay.

My only gripe with Dasilva was him occasionally jumping into tackles, that was what Fatawu wanted him to do.

Not JDS biggest fan but he came up against arguably one the best in the division in that position, doubling up to help him was a must yesterday . Thought Assante covered a lot of ground and had to be a lot more defensive minded and disciplined . Cancelled each other out a lot plenty of positives and if we can do them at home 4pts from them would be a great return

Strange one this. First time I’ve had Leicester fans actually dropping their massive egos (which I believe are probably the biggest I’ve ever experienced) and accepting that a draw was probably a fair result.

Although they still seem to forget that they’re coming down with money and some premier league players so it isn’t a level playing field.

Fatawu will test a few full backs, although so far the Preston lad and to a certain extent the Birmingham left back had the measure of him. Mavididi is really no more than a show pony, terrible body language and can't be arsed most of the time, give Monga selective starts and he will be a much better option.
Ayew has to play because we have no other 9 or 10 that can buy fouls, hold the ball up a bit. The new guy Carranza who came on just might fit into the 9 slot and Aron Ramsey who is on a 2 match ban will come back into midfield. Soumare shouldn't even be wearing the shirt.
I thought both sides played too deep for the majority of the game. I expected more from Haji Wright and your midfield. If they had applied pressure on our defence further up the field i reckon it would have paid dividends.
The game lacked intensity and commitment and a draw was a fair conclusion.
Yes the kit did 'stand out' a bit!

I think that's a fair assessment??

This is grimes heatmap , he definitely had to cover dasilva a few times

He’s been one of the main reasons for Dasilvas improvement, that and having Kitching alongside him and not Binks. Grimes is just such a quality player though, even when he’s not on the ball/tackling he’s often plugging gaps to stop the opposition progressing. I saw some 6’s in the ratings which shows some still don’t really get what he brings to the team, especially when considering the opposition yesterday. Been an absolute steal at £3.5m

I absolutely love watching Grimes play.which is unusual as it's usually attacking players that get the juices flowing but he's just a joy to watch.

He’s also left footed so is naturally in that side. My suspicion is that Torp’s heat map would look somewhat the same to cover MVE’s overlaps.

I could wrong, it’s an opinion based on intuition. Out of curiosity, where do you get these heat maps from?

@Mucca Mad Boys why the laughing emotion?!
It just sounded oddly sexual and genuinely made me laugh! 😂

I agree, Grimes is such a good player to watch but not sure it gets my juices flowing in the same way!

EDIT: I think as a community we need to normalise using the ‘😂’ for finding posts funny rather than in a mocking tone! I’m guilty of it too at times!

If he were a few years younger it would certainly have been more, but for the consistency he brings it's still great business. He does very rarely get caught out in a tricky spot, but much more often he's taking the ball in difficult areas and easing off the pressure in a way a certain predecessor of his just didn't.

Yes but probably inevitable even if Bidwell played because Fatawa is Leicester’s danger man. That was i was being told by my two colleagues who support Incester. He is a better player from when we seen him last in 23/24!
