The sort of game that we could really pull away in if we had some quality wingers.

Playing a system that requires two wingers and only having two in the squad is so poor.
It was ludicrous not to strengthen in that area really

We’ve looked really poor in the final third. Barely threatened them despite having a lot of the ball in their half. Thomas Asante isn’t a winger and is pretty useless out wide against teams who have bodies back. Sakamoto also having a poor game, as is Rudoni. Wright barely had a sniff.

Dno that last deflected one is the type that usually goes in
The one thing i will say is its a greasy surface and ball. Its days like today that a long shot works! One that would normally bounce will slide on and stay low and catch a keeper out. Horrible conditions for a keeper.

We haven't moved the ball as quickly but Leicester are a better defensive unit than any team we've faced so far

How do we approach the rest of the game? If BTA is having to pull back and help Dasilva, we lose the option going forward.
I think if we hit 70 mins at 0-0 he will bring Brau on

Fair play, but 5 saves you'd expect a professional keeper to be making! None of them shots should be troubling any keeper, especially a professional one

Shudder to think how things would’ve been if we still had Collins in goal.

Leicester and Ipswich are the 2 best 'on paper' teams by a mile. I can't really have any complaints at all. If it remains scrappy and we walk away with an ugly 0-0 then we're laughing.

Would take that.

Much prefer a smash and grab one nil though!

DaSilva has to contend with the best right winger in this league and whilst he has been beaten it is not surprising.
I do think BTA has helped tracking back but again he just looks like he is league two standard as an attacking threat, except for the rare occasion he pulls something off

Same same for me. They’re the team at home and their fans already seem pissy. We’ve done alright and a draw isn’t the end of the world but I feel we’re well placed to win it.

let them make the changes and we can react accordingly. Provided no one gets shit or knackered obviously.

The shot from James or winks (can’t remember who) early on where he got down quick to turn it round the post was a great stop.
It was a good save, but again, from distance, had full sight of it and time to react. A good save, but one you expect most keepers to get to!

The ball over the top of JDS that he came out to meet he did well. I think his presence put their winger off and forced a bad touch he then happily gathered and ended any threat.

He's had a decent half, but people that will jump on that as a "told you he was good" are clutching at straws

We look quite solid in defence apart from Dasilva. In attack we look okay, but the delivery into the box from Asante, Sakamoto and Van Ewijk have been poor.

It's clear that people are waiting to jump on him if we concede which is more strange. Especially if he's not at fault.

Which is a very fair point..... but why, as a fan base, are we settling on average, just because its better than shit????

What are you on about? What do you want the fanbase to do exactly? 😆

And people who are pointing out he’s had a solid if unspectacular half unprompted are suffering from Wilson derangement syndrome
